An Indian Tejas fighter jet crashed during an aerial display at the Dubai Air Show

I think Dubai officials should charge India for the damage caused during the Dubai Airshow or any future airshow.

Costs should be around $5.5+ million or more to repair the land with a permanent ban until a new approval.

Holy #uck! I thought about that. The pilot over did it. Indians were trying to compensate for the hit they took in May and #ucked up. It’s 8 0 now and in front of the whole world.

Foreign nations should start banning iaf from displays utterly unprofessional air force. Thats a hazard to not just india but others as well. How long before another crash that kills more people on the ground

Highly problematic. This will badly dent IAF image abroad. Tough questions will be asked.

Over there on X (Twitter), a lot of Indians were making fun of PAF not flying the JF-17 due to a technical issue in the craft, moments later the Tejas crashed.

They got owned by their own big mouths.

Condolences to the family of the pilot.

In the end, you always reap what you sow.

Good! One less subhuman enemy Pakistan would need to unalive when the next conflict kicks off. I don't give out condolences to the enemy who wants to r*pe and m*rder my people. Some of you need to grow an iron spine.

I'll say the quiet part out loud - this crash adds more credibility to everything Pakistan Air Force did in the May conflict. Crashing their planes in India is one thing, but crashing it in front of the world at a world renown air show in a world's capital, the only RIP I would like to extend is to the IAF and Indians and their already bad credibility.

Samosa was oily and heavy before it went airbone. So fell down .
Rip to the pilot.

I see two issues here: the loss of engine power at a critical moment and the failure of the pilot to eject.

Engine intact after explosive crash suggests to me that no fuel was flowing through it at the time.

While it's true that ejection from ground level might not have the greatest chance for survival it does look like the pilot had the time to do it. Perhaps his workload was so great at the critical moment he had no opportunity to reach for the handle?

I see another failure. Indians pilots lack training, confidence and professionalism.

Imagine that over 25,000+ visitors including foreigners, suppliers, aviation enthusiasts, youtube audiences, and thousands of tourists witnessing this Tejas crash in real time - bright clear weather with orange blasts.

If the May 2025 conflict with Pakistan not happened and Trump not constantly bringing up the downed Indian jets, this would be just another crash in an air show. But with this the Indian Airforce is going to be even more discredited.

this can happen to anyone, we saw crash even of PAF, these are high stress environments and things can go wrong

OK, here is another angle - the height appears to be insufficient for this manuever.
Another video shows the samosa was leaking oil on ground before it went airborne. And Indian aircraft technicians were using shopping bags to collect the oil . Damn professional behaviour. And they still allowed the jet to perform for airshow.

but if you see X and FB, Indians were were on full throttle about Thunder.
But Not the thread. RIP
Can't say I am happy. But we have full experience how Indians openly rejoice celebrate even civilian plane deaths when it comes to Pakistan.
But yes, ss Muslims we are a lot different from them. I can bet even our best of trolls are a lot better than best of sane minds from eastern neighbor when it comes to such incidents.
