that’s bad, RIP.

an inquiry must be held regardless of what.

earlier oil leak was reported.

If this was an Indian forum and if it was a Pakistani jet that crashed every Indian would have been laughing and making fun and saying really disgusting things.

But we are not... all the comments here are respectful. It just goes to show who's the better people.

Pakistanis are the best people and better than Indians because we don't make fun of those that die in disaster and tragedy.
Because of our teaching, our holy Prophet PBUH....forbade abusing the dead

Just sick mentality - and that's their so called reputable defence journalists.

Horrific - may the family of the pilot find patience
I had a foreboding feeling something was going to happen this airshow and was actually afraid a JF-17 would go down or otherwise - a situation of “too much celebration”. Unfortunately it came true.
Me as well, honestly.

Something just felt off about it.

------

As for the crash itself, it seems the pilot was trying to do a maneuver that he didn't have enough height for. This also explains why he didn't eject, because he expected to be fine.

Indians ney ulta pakistan hi ko troll kar na shuru kar dia......

The last few seconds on the video I saw show him completing a low level barrel roll - regardless of the rate it is still very dangerous at that altitude.

It doesn’t seem like the aircraft either has an issue or otherwise. Im not sure where he was looking but perhaps he misjudged the terrain cues - to @Ak01 point you’re not on instruments and in the last seconds it seems like he was not expecting terrain.

So It’s a pilot error on the roll and turn out , so he was what to low for that manoeuvre.?

It’s that exact mentality that they will continue to have 3-0s or 6-0s or whatever. This idea of “we are blameless”(chosen by god) has seeped into their mentality. If there was any curse Pakistan could give them from its own ills it would be this - it is a fitting rot in society when you immediately blame everyone except looking at yourself.

Yup, can't say that the Chinese and the Pakistanis are very JOYOUS! This crash gives a huge boost to China and Pakistan's military collaboration. But the icing on the cake would be Trump starts bringing up this crash to try to sell India the F-35 jets.
I expect Indians will now push to focus on AMCA, in the mean time, additional foreign procurement. This plan serves both HAL and IAF, and release some additional money for the corrupt politicians.

F35 is a great plane, Indians should opt for it. Its time when Americans milk them.

why you people making fun of crash?

grow up, show grace and give some respect.

can’t find a logic behind it.
We are not making fun of this crash ....just check X, Indians have gone mad ....trolling Pakistan ...please ask Indian posters to show some grace and respect atleast for Indian pilot.....

TBH, I'd be nervous if PAF jets are still participating. The UAE has a huge Indian and Israeli footprint and so some 'revenge' sabotage can't be ruled out in the air show.
Pakistan must not squander this huge gain in a world where 'perception' matters more than 'facts'. It is also a huge gain for the Chinese, coming just a couple of days after the US official report which gave credit to Pakistan's 'success' against India in May 2025 and credited the Chinese military hardware during that conflict.

I have compared this specific manoeuvre with previous videos of the display at Dubai.
In them, his nose comes up and aircraft becomes upright and level at the end of it. But this time nose seems to be going down , when pilot attempts to get it level but there is no height.

The whole thing looks quite off from the usual days.
