The Surovikin defensive works are the most extensive set of fortifications created in Europe since the end of the Second World War. A UK defense intelligence report concluded that “Russia has constructed some of the most extensive systems of military defensive works seen anywhere in the world for many decades". In 2023 the Surovikin line held and defeated the
Ukrainian counter-offensive. The Ukrainians suffered such heavy losses trying to breach these defenses that a large counter offensive has not been attempted since,
Pakistan must rapidly create defensive lines across its borders with India. Given the numerical advantage of the enemy it is necessary to also deploy nuclear mines at various locations to destroy a breakthrough,
At this time Pakistan is relying on batteries of Nasr missiles equipped with tactical nuclear warheads to destroy an Indian armored breakthrough . These Nasr batteries will inevitably be targeted by Brahmos,SCALP, missiles, and Hammer bombs BEFORE India launches its armored thrust. Keeping the Nasr batteries dispersed or concealed may help preserve them but will also hinder deployment.
. If a Surovikin type defense line is created, an armored thrust may be delayed or even blunted giving time for Pakistan to deploy its tactical nuclear assets. Pakistan badly needs thousands of anti-tank guided missiles immediately. The Chinese Hongjian-12 ATGM is a good option to defeat the massed armored attacks and Pakistan should immediately import thousands of these missiles. . Ideally Pakistan should have had Javelins or Kornets but is unlikely to get these due to political reasons.
In case a scenario of an enemy breakthrough happening Pakistan should immediately start training and equipping the local population in the border areas for a partisan resistance to impose a cost on the enemy. A population armed and equipped even with second generation anti-tank weapons such as RPG-7s equipped with secondary charge warheads can still do a lot of damage to Infantry fighting vehicles such as BMPs, BTRs, or Strykers. To deal with the enemy infantry Pakistan should distribute to the population hundreds of thousands of small arms that the armed forces are replacing, These would be AKMs, SKS, and G3 machine guns.
India itself is under a lot of psychological and political pressure......thanks to the failed operation bhindoor, trump rubbing it in their face and Tejas crash the cherry on the top
It is the minds of our people that need changing. 63% of our population is under 30 years old and 25% of our total population is Gen Z, The greatest challenge is to make our mobile phone addicted Gen-Z population bred on Tik-Tok and Bollywood music, aware of the horrible fate that awaits them at the hands of the most cruel and ruthless enemy.Great post......add one more thing....do not preach and practice policy of restraint...zimeydaar nuclear power...and similar rubbish....
Go with the full force ..Enemy will not spare you this time.
