Not perfect... he thought he was the true king instead of a puppet he was.

To be fair, many other pawns have made the same mistake, starting with Junejo. The system gradually messes with their heads. and nearly all of them need to be cut back at the right time. The historical record shows that quite clearly.

I suspect that any perfect pawn has an inbuilt self-destruct mechanism by design to be deployed when desired.

As I keep saying, after the Fall of Kabul in August 2021, Imran started to get a little too comfortable in his role as the 'elected PM' of Pakistan. News had started to circulate about differences between Imran and the military. News worthy enough to get govt response. But Pakistani press was rife with the Power Games. Those of us who have seen Pakistan's politics for a long time, knew something was brewing. It was all Power Game.
Imran's statements, his appointments in those months, leading to the NCM vote, all signalled that desire to hold onto and extend power come what way.
We could benefit from going through Dawn.com archives from late 2021 through mid April 2022 to see what caused Imran's downfall--it was NOT America! The guy wanted to extend his hold on power. As simple as that.
Here, just one day from Dawn.com's archives.

They are ever since Imran Khan became the last man standing against the perpetual military dictatorship in Pakistan 🇵🇰

No, that logic still fails. Being the last man standing may be noble, but IK simply cannot do much without widespread public support. Merely claiming it again and again will not make it real.

Because he simply doesn’t consider continuous military operations as a lasting solution for any conflict.

It is actually true that using military force is merely one tool, but never sufficient all by itself to resolve complex geopolitical issues.

He was even willing to isolate Pakistan to keep power after degrading relations with US, China and Saudi which is why he went running to Russia.

A flawed and deeply insecure character. What happened after 9/11 affected him and he never really recovered.

Its a relief this is behind us now and Pakistan is in better hands. Better days to come.

The problem for IK has never been lack of public support but rather how to effectively channel that support into a meaningful change. That is his biggest weakness to date…

But you and your ilk repeatedly call him Taliban Khan whenever he opposes these military operations in favor of other more peaceful solutions. 🙄

Those three countries are Pakistan's most important foreign relations.
Also, the idiot thought of some Muslim NATO by working with much poorer, peripheral countries like Malaysia while much of the global disposable wealth lies in the GCC and the West. What an idiot!!

That is like me claiming to have millions in the bank, but if I cannot withdraw the money to use for my benefit when I need it, what good is it really and how would anyone else know it is real?

Yeah, he should’ve signed on Trump’s infamous Abraham Accords along with those rich GCC countries and thus recognized wealthy Israel as Pakistan’s true ally! What an idiot indeed! 🙄

His kids are Jewish, he's already signed the Abraham Accord :ROFLMAO:

By end of year 2 I think he realised he is not as good as an administrator as he thought he was and reality started dawning as his popularity started sinking.

Populist leaders usually have over inflated sense of worth.

Coincidentally, I wanted to give you this exact same example for Imran Khan’s absurd situation. 🙄
