But what these Imran supporters don't realize is that it is the collective decision by the Establishment to sideline Imran.
That’s right. Likewise, it’s the collective decision of Pakistani Awam to stay behind IK, instead of collective decision makers in the military establishment. 🙄

But as per you and your ilk, IK’s rise to power had absolutely nothing to do with his own contribution. He was actually catapulted into power by the military establishment. 🙄

Same here as above; you and your ilk claim that IK ending in prison had absolutely nothing to do with his own contribution. That too was the result of military establishment falling out with him. 🙄

Obviously, my mistake was to assume at least a double digit IQ, but I was disappointed.

Where did I mention the cause of the rise and the fall?

He rose to be PM. He fell to end up in jail as a convict.

Whether he deserved to do the first or the second, or both, or not, is entirely irrelevant to the statement about his rise and fall.

This will be the end of my interactions with you. Good bye.

Honestly, I have NEVER seen a Pakistani politician who enjoyed so much support from the media, from the intelligentsia, from the Judiciary, from the bureaucracy, from the clergy, from the Establishment, from the masses and fall to the lows like Imran has in such a short time between his massive Lahore rally in 2011 to his fall now.

Jab khuda zarf zey ziyada kisi ko nawazey tau yehi hota hey.

Have you become completely blind in your Bughz-e-Imran? Did IK / PTI really get that much support from the military establishment as the current PDM setup? 🙄

He rose to be PM. He fell to end up in jail as a convict.
That’s like the standard fate of almost every politician / PM in Pakistan who falls out with military establishment. But we do not really consider them being sent to prison as their "fall". 🙄

Or, to quote PM Imran on PM Modi: "BaRi Kursi pe Chota Admi Beth Gaya".
Hahaha!

Actually, I would say that is the fault of the military in not recognizing just how pathetically little of a man they were selecting. May be it was intentional?

Imran is suffering today and tomorrow his oppenents will suffer as a revenge.
How exactly when almost all big political opponents of IK are comfortably sitting in military establishment’s lap?

Yes, military establishment should’ve consulted with @VCheng before "selecting" IK. 🤭

So you are admitting that the Military goons broke their oath with Allah. Jhoti kasam
in front of Allah eh?
May be it was intentional?

Is this why he wants life time immunity? What is punishment for breaking your oath?

In case of Imran, with both PMLN and PPP discredited each other over the decades--with good help from the military-- the overall decision was to dump them and try something new. But about halfway into Imran's tenure, even the COAS realized that Imran was becoming a big problem, especially on Pakistan's foreign relations, and so they decided to dump him by staying neutral.
But, yes, generally the Generals want obedient 'clerks' who'd do the 'governance' and frankly I don't mind that arrangement as long as 'governance' is kept reasonably okay. I am now too jaded to give the General or the politicians much credit. But I am happy with the current arrangement. I always liked Shahbaz Sharif anyway and I despise his elder brother almost as much as I despise Imran.

Military should be doing their job which is to fight wars, they have failed miserably
by surrendering East Pakistan, Siachen and Kargil.

They should go back to the borders and get back Kashmir to make up for this
humiliation instead getting involved in Politics.
