The reality is that India despite having free access to international markets, still fails to assemble a guidance kit. I used to admire Indian IT engineers who had almost once conquered microsoft company. But as it seems, India does not care about indigenous programs which forces Indian scientists to leave the country. That is pathetic and a sign of huge corruption inside the country.

Speaking of fighter jet, Iran does not buy American engines, Israeli avionics, Russian weapons system to integrate them into so called HAL Tejas.
We have local plans for fighter jets but as of now Iran has been able to lonely counter NATO in Iraq, Syria, Israel and their assets in Qatar, Kuwait, KSA and other Arab kinglets.
