Hey, I just hope they get what they want, and soon. Just like Gen Zia. Problem solved. :D

You are too cruelly fun!!

There is absolutely no 'collective wisdom', no learning from mistakes, no discipline, and a repeat of religion like Zia ul Haq's era.
Just look for five seconds at this mob! And the expat Pakistanis fall for this? Even by the low standards of Pakistani political class, this is even low. A 'New Pakistan' to be born through these clowns??
Just five seconds, please!

You expect these peope who've been under practical state brutality to be all goodie two shoes and work for democracy while the whole party is in disarray?

You are nothing but intellectually dishonest if you make this comparison and think it's the same PTI which .

People who are getting screwed at literally every step of the way don't really work for a Naya Pakistan at that point in time.

This blatantly dishonest critique has been debunked so many times, yet people still like to bring it up and be smug about it.

Let me break your legs, then ask you to run a marathon. Lemme know how that goes.

But isn't that what IK tried to do exactly? As much as I agree that Pakistan needs a LOT of reforms, the solutions are all long marathons.

Starting from a position where the public has both legs broken by the military overlords over 50 years, while their back is broken from being crushed economically, one cannot just get up and start walking just because we have a great leader.

Much has to be fixed long before even the first step can be taken. That is why I say that the solutions to all that ails Pakistan will take decades to resolve. And that is only if we start today. And we have not even done that yet.

Imran himself broke his legs!!! The guy had the full control of the K-P Assembly in April 2022 NCM vote, had near parity on seats in the National and Punjab Assemblies, the Floor Crossing Laws prevented voted against Imran's directive--perhaps a little too strictly. And Imran was advised by his veteran allies to either dissolve the Assemblies before the NCM could be tabled OR don't resign from the National and Punjab Assemblies. He ignored all those advice. He ignored those advice which were given by his own allies and in good faith. And just now he again proved his political stupidity by boycotting the By-Elections which his own party members didn't want him to boycott.

It is YOU and those blind supporters of Imran who are denying the facts and the facts point toward Imran's arrogance and stupidity!!! There is no question about that. Address the facts instead of blaming ME! But you are welcome to 'Haha' or 'Ignore' me for all I care.

If you truly believe that's the root cause of everything then what can I say my man.

Yes sure, there's a perfect parallel here. Not gonna go into that debate though, been argued to death.

Agreed. So let's start then. Ab to Mohsin Baig bhi rona shuru ho gaya hai.

Agreed. So let's start then.

Absolutely!

In fact, the solutions have also been discussed endlessly here on PDF over many many years. What is clear is that the first steps have to come from within Pakistan before any others can help.

Not the 'root cause' but no politician has ever squandered so much mindlessly as Imran did in the months before and after the NCM vote in April 2022. You may think there was some long term grand vision in the choices he made but there were none--as time as proven. His latest choice was to partially boycott the By Elections against the advice of those veteran politicians who even dared to give him any advice.
All my understanding of him boils down to two words: Arrogance and Stupidity.
