You don’t know who to trust in Pakistan. I would be too afraid to call the police just incase they rob me.The trust is gone between civilians and the government.

It's a general rule of thumb in all countries that an average person does not trust the government. One can assume it to be a universal fact. Distrust of authorities is a natural instinct of humans who are born free.

There are different types of Jahalat in Pakistan.
I was in Karachi barely three months ago, felt safe around the people 'worshipping' graves in Mangho Pir or Abdullah Shah Ghazi just as I would feel safe around those going to interior Sindh or Multan Sufi saints shrines. Not that I personally indulge in such things--look at my profile pic. That type of 'Jahaliat' doesn't chat 'Shahadat, Shahadat' like Imran's sisters, his wife, his Gandapur chanted.

As an American I think you are too familiar in hanging around drugged stoned hippies.

Why can't there be a reconciliation, if both parties are genuine about the country they put aside their differences and work for the greater good of the country.

Man is not just so to expect justice from anyone who rules pak is a far fetched idea.

Right. And religion is such a powerful tool to influence the masses. Thus videos like Imran's sisters chanting 'Shahadat, Shahadat' with that mullah are dangerous tools. So they want to 'free' Imran from the prison and are implying they would even seek 'martyrdom' to achieve their goal?? Whatever is happening to Imran is political--not some religious war!
Such use of religion is a slippery slope to the ideologies leading to suicide bombing even if it may not appear at first glance.
and for record for nth time.

I am against the continued political incarceration of Imran Khan
I want him and all political prisoners free.
his mandate and public support must be respected.

the respected and honorable supporters of PTI must come forward and shape the political narrative and not leave the space for foul mouth trolls.

I suggest PTI officials to instead of preaching the converted (PTI supporters) they should respectfully convince the disillusioned and former PTI supporters & critics to join them , instead of threatening them, using foul language against them and dragging their family members for trolling and degrading on social media.

Although I dont support the misuse of state assets by current and past rulers, I don't feel any pity for the cheap minister (not a typo) of KP, this guy is alleging warcrimes on Pakistan army for its military operations in KP and has quoted fake AI videos to stir up hatred towards the armed forces.

They most certainly CAN enforce a ban. And please don't talk about your Constitution or your Democracy.

It is basically THUG oriented where they send there RSS/BJB goons to do their bidding.

Because..., the Establishment and/or the Government of Pakistan has NOT put any restrictions on anyone appearing on Indian Media.

Once IK gets his meeting with his sisters/lawyers/political leadership - tum Indians kisi aur laal-batti kay peechay lug jana.

These days..., you're ONLY concern is:
1. IK - not that its any of your concern.
2. Field Marshal Asim Munir's new title - which seems to stig pretty much everyone in ENDia.
3. Visa Ban on Pakistanis in UAE - your part time hard-on.
Be careful with your language. Warning ⚠️

Demanding that the government allow the jailed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to meet his sisters and party leaders, the opposition alliance warned the authorities on Friday of countrywide protests if the government did not mend its ways.

Former and current prison officials Dawn spoke to said that all prisoners in Punjab’s jails — including political prisoners — are allowed meetings with five people per week, including their lawyers and relatives. In addition, they are allowed 30 minutes of phone time per week.

Even condemned prisoners are eligible to meet their lawyers and family members once a week, along with 30 minutes of phone time, which is exercised through the several public call offices (PCOs) that are operational in Adiala jail.

Officials say jail authorities have the ability to conduct ‘automatic monitoring’ of prisoners’ phone conversations, so they can listen to any communication made by any prisoner, when necessary.

In addition, political prisoners are kept in special cells under strict security, and their medical check-up is supposed to be conducted on a daily basis to ensure that they are in good health.

‘Subjective’ rules

However, the rules stipulate that these meetings are linked to the “prisoner’s behaviour”, i.e. their obedience to prison rules, making their enforcement necessarily subjective.

According to officials, certain serious offenses, such as terrorism and involvement in anti-state activities, could render an inmate ineligible for these provisions.

A retired senior officer from the prison department told Dawn that according to the rules, the decision whether or not to allow an incarcerated or under trial prisoner access to his/her lawyers or relatives was at the discretion of the concerned jail superintendent.

If the incarcerated prisoner’s behaviour is ‘not good’, it will be up to the jail authorities to disallow meetings or telephonic conversations.

In addition, the visitation rights of any prisoners, especially political ones, can be suspended if the government apprehends unrest or a law and order situation.

This could be a major stumbling block for the PTI,
as prison authorities have repeatedly complained about the conduct of Mr Khan’s visitors, especially taking issue with the press conferences that Aleema Khan or others hold after meeting with the incarcerated party founder.

Yes the rules keep changing. Like refusing to implement High Court orders!!!

Go find out bro

I am not making any claims about any orders being violated. The link above shows the rules that do apply to IK's visitation rights.

Those claiming that the High Court order is somehow being violated need to show where the violation is, based on the text of the order itself, not me.

And for the nth time: Imran is not a political prisoner. Him simply violated the NCM vote made him a criminal right there and then and then there were many of his actions after that. He is behind the bars for some reasons! And you are mistaken if you think he has 'the mandate': No political party has ever even touched 40% of polled vote and Imran secured only 30% popular votes. He has the mandate in K-P but that province is turned into a personal enterprise to free him, to do ethnic blackmail, and to target the Pakistani military in order to appease the Talibans.
Those currently in power have their own support base. No one can tell me that the good old Biradery System of Pakistan is not represented in the current Parliament! Sindhis have their their party in power and their population is tens of millions. Same with the Noonies. Same with religious parties.

Imran should be sent to some Saroor Palace in Saudi Arabia with a gag order for ten years. Pakistan can't have an anarchist out on the street constantly marching on Islamabad.

This is the key.

IK's support is often claimed to be widespread, but somehow it never translates into that in reality. If enough people do actually come out and show their support for IK to the extent that it is claimed, no one can keep him in jail, no matter what.

Right.
And I think it is an insult to the mandate of other parties who have been around for many decades, who have their own support base and to deny that the current Parliament doesn't have significant people mandate.
