OMG markets are failing.

sorry, I missed the point?!!!
was it about?

1. your high growth, low volume startups are world leading in AI, manufacturing and computing?!!!

2. high book to MV companies are also the region's leading export companies (which, will also make them best performing co. globally, bec, of China!)

if answer to the above question is zero!

sorry, this market is a farce!

No. Undocumented doesn't mean they are hidden.
Boss take this one on the chin. It's 10 years old data, wrangled and contorted year on year, assumptions dilute or become abstract. You said in initial response the challenges.

It isn't sudden. I don't think you really understand what changing base year meant.
I don't think either of us do, what you expecting, an adjustment factor from base year and happy days? india doesn't release all its inputs.

But next year I understand the process will start with fresh data, that's better to wait for

IMF wants a more accurate approach in each sectors don't look at export data of electronics to figure out how much is produced and hence calculate GDP growth
So we agree, more or less
And with better data you have better output from more descriptive models

Recency of data is a key characteristic to determine subsequent reliability

At least they’re focused on building a life here instead of being brain washed and blowing themselves up for some imagined afterlife reward.
You always bring a religious aspect out of context. Why you not pink again.

When Dalit and caste are brought up, are you seriously claiming religion isn’t part of that context? And what exactly in my comment was religious? Go ahead and spell it out.

So you're telling me your 'ekonomy' is only $180 billion instead of the hidden 60% added 400 gazillion. You'll be the one taking it to the chin if going by your illogical argument.

We do, our input records are accurate. We have afterall a very effective taxation mechanism which even with its flaws keep a lid on things. So we don't have to wait for change in base year to know the status, if anything the base change will bump up the figures by a few hundred billions.
So we agree, more or less

Yeah? And if you're keen on a fact finding a simple consumption data would give a clear picture say electricity consumption almost always follow the GDP growth rate feel free to consult that.

High growth low volume, oh you mean Krutim with $1B valuation and some 2+T local language training stacks. Or you mean idea forge with half a billion order book including internatinal orders especially from US and EU. Maybe you mean ATI motors which runs those autonomous vehicles in warehouses of BMW or Foxconn lol!

The growth is also due to these high book to MV companies say Coal India trading 0.8x or something to book. BEL with an order book of $2billion trading 0.6x book. Yeah we are trading on 300% cagr startup and High book to MV divident yielding companies. And we CAN trade in it if yk, yk. Advantage of high volume and cash heavy markets eh?

Anything else? I can't remember, but if you wanna try me, I'll look it up thoroughly.

An inflation rate of less than 1% is abnormal and will alarm any economist. Of course their central bank will now lower the policy rate and if the inflation rate still remains this low then clearly the economy is in a deep sh!t.

Wise words, to be taken to heart.

P.S. : This is amazing. So much engagement. People with so much knowledge sharing their thoughts.

Lol why are you so touchy on this, you need the Pakistan safety blanket again? Don't want to compare to china..... Wrong Benchmark....ooops😂

You actually accept in large part the deficiencies in capturing a defensible gdp, of which a proper CPi basket is needed, representative one.

I dont see how you get a bad outcome, most likely, after proper adjustments and data.

A factoid though, China has same grade "C" in reporting. I guess "faking" is all over the world.

I will go back to reporting.
