As for the Croats and Serbs I referenced earlier? They are all refugees from the breakup of the former Yugoslavia. And some of them? Their parents fought in the war.

Serbs didn't start this. Izetbegovic started it by insisting on leaving the federation without taking care of the Bosnian Serb matter and despite the warnings and pleading that this would start a bitter war. And in fact,it was the Muslims who shed first blood.

The reason threads like this should be avoided is because they always turn into flame wars,name calling and why I don't want to start another "yours did worse than ours" debate here is because it's totally useless since nobody changes their mind,everyone is fixed to their side and in the end the thread gets locked and/or some people banned. Everything posted from the Muslim side is taken as the infallible truth by a majority Muslim forum,who don't wonder how come the same zio Americans who bombed the f out of them and despised them,were supposedly truthful,benevolent and cared for Muslims in an unknown region of the former Eastern Bloc,cared so much that launched a media and military crusade against Yugos.

So yes,it won't do anything. It will only agitate me,I'll agitate some of you,then some Indians might jump in and the thread turns into a saloon.

Because I've seen most Muslims here not reacting or mildly even excusing atrocities by Ottomans or modern Turks that I've mentioned in other threads,so I know it's pointless. There's always some excuse to not condemn anything. If I mention some massacre or incident by Turks for example,there's either silence or some apologists come to downplay everything and trying to find excuses for the atrocities. Even you,just now said the Serbs "had it coming". And this is another thing that many guys do all the time: they excuse and praise Muslim atrocities in any war or conflict. Whereas any war,attack,revenge by any ethnic or religious group in any historical context against Muslims is condemned and said group is described as vile,inhuman,evil to the core no matter the context or history,any Muslim atrocities,massacres,war crimes or even genocide is excused as just revenge, bravery or resistance and praised by people here.

Therefore,wtf am I to talk about when you'll say your things and I'll say my things and nothing will come out of it?

I agree with most part of your post. But even if a part of a federation wants to leave they should be allowed to do it. Whatever Serbs did was not right.

I am a Bosniak from Bosnia, a Muslim believer. Please, do not write about my people as "Bosnian Muslims" because one of the first goals of Serbian propaganda is to nullify our identity as Bosniaks as the fundamental people of Bosnia and reduce us to an amorphous religious group, a foreign fabric that needs to be killed or expelled.

Serbs are newcomers to Bosnia, 150 years after the loss of our independence they committed several successive genocides and thus spread throughout Bosnia, occupying land and properties of murdered or expelled Bosniaks. That's the whole point.

The BiH leadership said no,you can't do it. So,what do you think of that?

That's completely unhistorical. Serbs have had presence in Bosnia since the 7th century AD and were always part of that area. Even Kosovo,which revisionist propaganda wants as "always Albanian",was the craddle of Serb civilization in the middle-ages.

Then you have to wonder: Are Bosnians a different south slav group that are split into Catholics,Muslims and Orthodox or are Bosnians a mix of different ethnicities,the Croatian the Muslim(now called Bosniak)and the Serbian? Either way,you have three different sides. The idea that "Bosnian Muslims" should be the ones called "Bosnians" is wrong and it's something that was started by western media during the war. In Yugoslavia they were all Bosanci,Bosnjaci. Bosnian Croats,Bosnian Serbs and Bosnian Muslims. Muslim was an ethnicity in Yugoslavia,if I remember correctly.

So anyway,you see now @fitpOsitive why this is more complicated and I don't want to be dragged down again? Because we've done this many times before on the old forum and it's like a circle repeating,nothing changes,nobody understands,it ends up with fighting and frankly,I'm alone here and I'd have to spend hours posting to debunk things or debate others,just for absolutely no effect because they won't care in the end. You went back to 1991,I was talking about 1992 and Bosnia. The communist world was collapsing,I don't blame the Slovenes and Croats for wanting to leave the Federation. The Slovenes were by far the most homogenous Republic in Yugoslavia and never really considered themselves as "Balkan" either. However,Croatia had a significant Serb minority and BiH was even more complicated with three major ethnic/religious groups.

Izetbegovic and the BiH leadership wanted to leave the federation just like Slovenia and Croatia did. However it wasn't easy. The Serbs wanted to remain part of the federation,but Izetbegovic ignored that and went on with his plans for independence. Then,during a Serb wedding procession in Sarajevo,Muslims shot and killed the father of the groom and injured the priest. The next day,Serbs raised barricades. This is how the war started. The camps you're talking about came later,during the war and were part of the war. All sides were involved in mistreatment and executions of POWs.
