Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

And if Syria cannot draw the line, and say no more, then there won't be a Syria left as Israel will have occupied it. You cannot ignore the security dimension of this while Israel continues to creep forward and occupies more and more land.

What is the answer to stop this rot of Syria's sovereignty of what remains of its land int he south?

Syria needs time, thats what they are vying for.

I didn't say the US govt was a front, the PKK is a front thought, they control 1/3 of Syria and most of its oil and gas.
it's not an active military front. having more oil and gas won't change anything with Israel. what's Jolani going to do, offer to export oil to Israel in exchange for Israel withdrawing from southern Syria?

A state in a stronger position is always a positive, not a negative. 1/3 of the country is controlled by people who flirt with Israel hoping to carve out a seperate state, and control most of the oil.

Following the efforts led by Saudi Crown Prince #Mohammed_bin_Salman, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announces the removal of the name of Syrian President "Ahmed al-Sharaa" and Interior Minister "Anas Khattab" from the list of sanctioned persons and entities, in a step that reflects the effectiveness of Saudi diplomatic efforts on the regional and international stage.

American newspaper "Semafor Gulf":The Kingdom of #SaudiArabia and Syria are holding talks to establish a massive data cable network named "SilkLink," to connect the Gulf to Europe, in a step that reflects Riyadh's ambition to enhance its position as a global hub for artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure. The project is estimated to cost around 500 million dollars, and aims to bypass the recurring disruptions in Red Sea cables by creating an alternative route that passes through Syrian territories to the Mediterranean Sea. Saudi Telecom Company "STC" leads the list of candidate companies for the project, alongside alliances from other Arab countries. This initiative comes as part of a broader Saudi strategy to transform data into "the new oil," as the Kingdom has signed agreements with major technology companies such as Nvidia, Qualcomm, and AWS, with the aim of enhancing supercomputing capabilities and connecting data centers globally.

positive for the country overall, sure. but does not make a difference to its relations/issues with Israel.

When there are less fronts, if/when you do decide to do something, you only need worry about that front, you don't need to look behind you and to the left and right, you need only look ahead. No state can do anything effectively without consolidation.

Kurdish region isn't an active front anyway. so they don't need to worry about some Kurdish war front if they confront Israel. and if you are suggesting that is the main factor holding Jolani back from confronting Israel's invasion, then I think you are delusional.

Active or non active is meaningless, Suwaida is nonactive, doesn't mean its not a problem. This whole time the zionists are plotting about trying to create a connection between suwaida to the PKK Area via controlling the desert, its clear the fronts are connected in that both elements have reached out to the zionists for patronage. The Israelis will likely intervene via the air when there is a move made on either front.

President Ahmed Al-Sharaa:

📌 The whole world supports Syria in its demand for Israel’s withdrawal from the lands it occupied.
📌 The best thing is to adhere to the 1974 agreement, which achieved consensus and has survived this period.
📌 Searching for alternative agreements to the 1974 agreement may put us in danger.
📌 The United States is involved with us in the negotiations with Israel.
📌 Who will protect the buffer zone that Israel talks about other than the Syrian army?
📌 We call for commitment to the agreement that Israel will not exceed the borders agreed upon in 1974.
📌 All countries are called upon to press for Israel’s withdrawal before December 8.
📌 Regional security concerns must be addressed.

The most prominent statements of President Ahmed Al-Sharaa in his last meeting:

🔸 Israel launched more than 1,000 raids on Syria, and carried out 400 incursions into our lands within one year.

🔸 Alawites were one of the groups that paid the most taxes on the practices of the previous regime and its use of their children in its battles.

🔸 Syria has transformed from a crisis-producing region into a model for regional stability.

🔸 Syria is living its best conditions today, and there is no country without internal problems or authority that enjoys 100% approval.

🔸 The revolution is not a Sunni revolution, but rather a revolution of an entire people against tyranny.

🔸 Women in Syria are empowered and their rights are preserved, and we are working to enhance their participation in the government and the People’s Assembly.

🔸 After five years, Syria will go to comprehensive elections according to the new constitution.

The presidentAhmed Al-Sharaa: Israel is working to export crises to other countries and escape the massacres it is committing in the Gaza Strip, justifying everything with security concerns, while Syria, since the liberation, has sent positive messages to lay the foundations for regional stability.

Syria ‘has been totally cooperative’ toward deal with Israel, says US envoy

Damascus is ‘on the right track and their attitude with us has been totally cooperative,’ says Barrack

US Special Envoy to Syria Thomas Barrack said that Syria “has been totally cooperative” toward a deal with Israel.

He made the remarks in an interview with the UAE newspaper The National on Friday, on the sidelines of the Milken Institute Middle East and Africa Summit hosted by Abu Dhabi.

Damascus is “on the right track, and their attitude with us has been totally cooperative,” Barrack said.

He said that while Syria is pushing for peace, Israel remains wary.

“Everything we ask them to do, and dragging them towards Israel, they're doing it.”

The US envoy, however, noted that Israel “is not trusting yet,” which he said is the reason for the slow progress of the process.

“My personal view on the President's desire is we'll get a deal there, starting with the security and border agreement, utilisation of zones, moving towards normalisation, has to be the answer,” Barrack said.

“They (Syria) know that part of the solution is a deal with Israel,” said the envoy. “They have so many enemy combatants trying to disrupt this.”

On the talks with Iran, Barrack said: “I think our President has been clear. He's open to real discussions. He's not open to a senseless 'kicking the can down the road', and he knows the program. If the Iranians want to listen to what this administration is saying on enrichment and stopping the funding of the proxies, it's the answer.”

“Why is it Israel did not finish the job? We are not at the end yet. It is chapter five, and we have five more chapters to go.”

The US held five rounds of negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program earlier this year, before the talks were disrupted by an 12-day Israeli war on Tehran.

Al-Sharaa said his administration had worked to de-escalate tensions with Israel since he assumed office, emphasising that “we sent positive messages regarding regional peace and stability”.

“We’ve said very frankly that Syria will be a country of stability, and we are not concerned with being a country that exports conflict, including to Israel,” he said.

“However, in return, Israel has met us with extreme violence, and Syria has suffered massive violations of our airspace.”

‘Syria attacked by Israel, not the opposite’

Al-Sharaa said Israel must withdraw to where they were before the fall of al-Assad, and preserve the 1974 Disengagement Accord.

A poll from the American magazine "Foreign Affairs":
The Kingdom of #SaudiArabia tops the list of the most accepted partners among Syrians, with an approval rate reaching 87%, reflecting its status and regional influence

Same thing in almost every single Arab country, which is only natural.
