Here are the key agreements signed during the summit​

Several agreements were signed across various sectors, further cementing the bilateral ties between India and Russia. Key highlights include:

• Energy cooperation: Russia reaffirmed its commitment to providing uninterrupted fuel shipments to support India's growing economy.
• Industrial partnerships: Indian firms inked a deal with Russia’s URALCHEM to set up a urea manufacturing plant in Russia.
• Food safety: India’s FSSAI and Russia’s consumer protection agency formalized agreements to strengthen food safety regulations.
• Healthcare cooperation: Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed to enhance collaboration in medical research and healthcare.
• Maritime logistics: An MoU was signed to bolster India-Russia collaboration in port and shipping operations.
• Migration and mobility: Both countries signed agreements to streamline migration and facilitate the movement of people between India and Russia.

It was already known that civilian side deals would be prioritised in this visit. Indo-Russia military relationship has been always strong.

On the military side the most prominent pact that was signed was RELOS.

The pact permits up to five warships, ten aircraft, and 3,000 military personnel from either country to be stationed simultaneously in the partner nation's territory for five years, with a provision for a further five-year extension upon mutual consent. The details were confirmed by First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma's International Affairs Committee Vyacheslav Nikonov following the Russian Parliament's ratification.

In the space domain Russia has offered 100% Tot for RD-191M cryogenic engine. This will be a decent improvement over India's current Indo-French Vikas engine.

Additional S400 units, buying R37M missiles and the modernisation of the Super Sukhoi is already ongoing.

And they've pitched engine transfer (PDA 14) for India's MTA (competing against Embraer C390, C130J and Airbus A400M)

Su57 and S500 are under consideration. They were no indications of signing a final deal. S500 is something that even Russia has only one regiment of.

So it's not a nothinburger as you're suggesting.

I think India has truly chosen the US over Russia no matter how much noise is made regarding the Russian-Indian historical ties.

Russian junk is simply not up-to-mark for a growing Indian economy. It's simple as that.

I also think Russia sees India as a cash cow rather than some sort of strategic partner.

Strategic ally Iran is attacked by Zion/US in 2025, Russia stays away.
Best friend India is beaten to pulp by Pakistan in 2025, Russia stays silent.

I think it is more like the terms that either party wanted form each other make a deal right now is not possible and that more work is required to reach an agreement. India maybe asking for far more transfer of intellectual property and manufacturing that Russia is comfortable with and both sides need to recalibrate their expectations.

Over five months after it was launched from India's eastern seaboard, the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) satellite has entered its ‘science phase’, implying that it is now fully operational and beaming usable scientific data to Earth.

The satellite co-developed by the US’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) was launched onboard Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) GSLV-F16 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 30 and has been undergoing tests and calibrations since.

The 2,392-kg satellite is the first space platform to observe the earth with a dual frequency and detect changes in the planet’s surface down to “fractions of an inch”. It is focused on Earth observation for scientific purposes, particularly for understanding changes in ecosystems, ice mass, vegetation and natural hazards.

Quietly, the Indians know deep down that their Russian fighter planes are useless in their hands, i.e. MiG-29s and Su-30MKIs. They need a French/US based solution hence why so much focus on the Rafale and possibly F-35.
