The American troop/intelligence concentration in Kurdish parts of Syria and Iraq hints towards soft division of both countries, not defacto (yet). Iraqi Kurdishtan is already an autonomy and few days ago the biggest US consulate in the world was (worth almost 1 billion USD) opened there. Who knows what follows, maybe air-defence systems to intercept Iranian missiles. Anyways it's indeed pointing towards US-Israeli plan to fragment the region.

Syrian administration/HTS will have a big task to remove USA and their Kurdish proxy, let alone liberating other regions (Druze) and land occupied by Israel.
