PPP survived ZAB and BB because it was a real party with ideology, internal structure, district-level organisation and generational loyalty. PTI has none of that. It is a personality cult built entirely around one man. IK never groomed successors, never allowed independent leaders to rise and ran the party like a solo brand. That is why every major PTI figure scattered within days after May 9.

What I just said with a bite, you said it better with your usual calm, logical words.

I hear Imran's recent topmost guy Mr. Gandapur didn't attend the recent big, bad show of power in Peshawar and that Gandapur maybe expelled or leave on his own. What does it tell you about such appointment, on top of the many topmost appointments done by Imran? To be the topmost guy in currently the most vital province like K-P and to be dropped like hot potato betrays a lazy, stupid, cavalier 'leadership' exhibited by Imran Khan.
I don't know why Imran's supporters can't see Imran for what he truly is!? Just think about the probable exit of Gandapur and how Imran recently called his own loyal party members 'Traitors' for simply attending a routine NDU Workshop.
What does it tell us about Imran??

No, they are making sure people of Pakistan do not lead by their chosen leader. They are making sure Pakistan is ruled by corrupt people.
It's difficult to choose between corrupt and incompetent...road to hell is paved with good intentions... corrupt will do better.

Simple, they cannot bring themselves to admit they were fooled so much. That is a known feature of human psychology: "it is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled."

The best strategy is to let them figure it out for themselves voluntarily, or let reality teach them non-voluntarily.

All the old faces of PTI have been sidelined.,.all those left are like teenage girls having a big crush on the hero Messiah.

But I did a course correction almost overnight when Imran threw out the NCM in April 2022. Why can't the so-called 'educated' Pakistanis do the same? Many of them live in the West with, presumably, more time and resources to reflect about their choices, to do some online searches. Information and Dawn.com archives are at their finger tips.

But I don't get this 'crush' part?! In his youth, he was handsome but he has aged to be a 'butt ugly' looking guy and one of the ugliest persons to ever reach the top echelons of power in Pakistan. Maybe some 'momentum' of his past glory still carries.
Just look: The guy is UGLY in his old age!! And looks mentally deranged like 'Jack' in 'The Shining'.

Sometimes education and common sense are mutually exclusive. One cannot always assume the presence of either if someone has the other.

Yea but his old photos and videos are keeping the aura alive.

Allah makes us as He wills, so it is best not to comment on such matters.

Besides, he might be endowed in other ways. Who knows?

I give him this much: Well 'endowed' in fooling Pakistanis. He could take the biggest 'U-Turns' like turning on a dime and his followers would ignore that. You know, how some of them in this thread have twisted Imran blaming 'America' for his ouster to some 'poles' in America because now Imran needs America's support to come back to power. But all that would be somewhat acceptable because politicians lie all over the world. But when someone carries a Tasbeeh (Prayer Beads) and recites his every speech with Quranic verses and makes claims about 'Riyasat e Medina', at least some 'integrity' is not too much to ask for.
Those of us burned by General Zia's 'Islam' know such scoundrels immediately!

stereotyping are we

The 'handsome' guy married a Witch Wife mom of four kids. In my town, we have a 'Super Achiever' named dish for sports guys! There are some choice words for such 'men' in America. Behind the 'Made in Heaven' bride-groom is Farah Gogi who ran away from Pakistan after collecting her loot.

Nah, he is some 'Hafiz Whiskey' guy which Imran and his Indian/Afghan echo chamber constantly propagate. Leave the poor Asim Munir out of the 'handsome' debate, shall we?!!
