Footage of a Russian Lancet-51 kamikaze drone striking a rare Ukrainian Tunguska air defense missile and gun system. The video was filmed near the town of Shostka in the Sumy region. The Tunguska air defense missile and gun system was inactive at the time of the strike and was moving for cover. The 2S6 Tunguska anti-aircraft gun and missile system was developed in the USSR in 1982 and is now rarely used in the Ukrainian and Russian armies. The Lancet drone strike caused a fire in the Tunguska air defense system.

The Russian armed forces have completed the liberation of the city of Seversk in the Donetsk People's Republic. This was reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
As noted in the report, the entire territory of the settlement has come under control. The publication states that fighters from the 6th and 7th Cossack brigades told the publication that they were among the first to enter the city and successfully neutralised the elite 81st separate airborne brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Virtually all Ukrainian forces have left the city. Only small groups remain, hiding in basements and buildings. The area is being cleared, the publication's sources said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that his country is ready for an energy truce if Russia is willing to do so, Zelenskyy said. This was reported by the publication Strana.
What happened? Is someone saying that Ukraine is winning? It hasn't even been a year!

Ukraine is not winning but Russia is losing. Russia has lost even if it secures the land it acquired by conquest it will be a pyrrhic victory, likely leading to the same post war collapse we saw after the Soviet- Afghan war. Good thing the Russians have a high tolerance for pain, cause there will be pain.

Aim 120d is also 180km. It will require an upgrade though on F4Es. Radar upgrade is not necessary if Awacs data link is used by F4Es and missiles are guided by data-link. The equalizer here is awacs flying in Romania which cannot be shot down by Russia to not to get into conflict with nato. It will make F4s see Su35 first and shoot first.
Russia cannot fly awacs close to front lines for a long time after several of them were downed a year ago by Ukraine. Ukr airbases can be bombed by Russians and F4 planes will be downed for sure so the planes can be transferred by batches like 50 each until the planes are lost a new batch can be transferred to Ukraine from Poland or nearby countries.
They wont work on eastern regions yet but they can still provide some degree of air control over Kherson and Zaporizia regions with the awacs equalizer where Ukr counter attacks can happen successfully after air control over those areas. Most F4s are in high numbers and are in fliying condition in nato country inventories. They can be upgraded to bvr standards. Unlike Mig-21 the F4s were designed with a bvr consideration.
Some of the data I've pulled up indicates less than 100 are still flying today. The last ones were built in the late 70s. The time it would take to transfer to the Ukes and train the pilots simply isn't worth it. Give them more F-16s instead.

Su-35 armed with R-77M butchers Su-27. R-77M equipped with AESA radar, dual pulse motor, 200 km range is Russia's counterpart of PL-15.

The retired ones might be in flying condition or close to flying condition in various countries. Same as F5 fighter aircraft that was sold before F16s. It will require training though or they need to hire pilots from abroad. Also aim-120 launching modification and data-link modification to communicate with Romanian awacs to attack Su35 over Kherson.

F16 is the best option but countries are not giving up planes for their own security. It will take some years to produce new Eurofighters and F35s to replace the F16s in those countries. Then they need to get f16s directly from Usa but trump wont possibly be giving them anything in the short term. That leaves older planes modified for the new bvr job from European countries or wait for new F16s, Gripens until 2028 or more and continue to take massive glide bombs on eastern sector for several years more causing similar number of losses to Russians. In that case temporarily retreating from Donbas would be a more viable option for the ceasefire with some security guarantees and consolidate the losses since 2028-29 would be too late for Ukraine to get some new aircraft. The losses might make whole battle front collapses for Ukraine during that time and Russia wont want ceasefire in that case and would continue.

We dont see Ukranian losses unlike the Russian losses from the shared fpv drone footage but it can be similar number as those assault groups are sacrificed by Russia to get Ukranian trench positions data and launch glide bombs to those positions later on.

The first footage of a Russian S-8000 Banderol small cruise missile striking the Ukrainian dam of the Pechenizhe Reservoir in the Kharkiv region. The results of the strike on the dam are shown at the end of the video. The Banderol missile was presumably used by an Orion UAV. The strike was carried out using Banderol and Iskander missiles, with the aim of disrupting supplies to the Ukrainian army in the northeastern Kharkiv region.

New details on the US peace plan. This deal would be a win for Ukraine.

The political status of contested territories was postponed.
Why would the Russians accept this?
ZNPP would not remain under Russian control.
The US may take over management of the facility to ensure security.
Why would the Russians accept this?
The US would provide security guarantees similar to NATO’s Article 5 protection. Ukraine wants these guarantees to be formally ratified by the US Congress.
Why would the Russians accept this?

Here in Brazil we have a saying: "Have you already discussed this with the Russians?"

This agreement seems to have been written by the Europeans and Ukrainians:

The Russians give up everything and Ukraine gives up nothing. This will amount to nothing, like so many other agreements created by Ukraine/Europe.
