No mention of any V kits so it's just a support package that being said $686 Million is pretty significant amount for a sustainment package makes me wonder if they are working towards a larger upgrade deal.

$686m is too small of an amount to expect a major upgrade especially in terms of radars and FBW systems.

Guess it has something to do with comms only.

That’s what I was thinking. Investing half a billion on F-16s means that PAF is still seriously pursuing upgrades on F-16s and this upgrade isn’t the cap of them.

Seems like just a sustainment package to keep the fleet modern, no major upgrade. The 92 Link 16 systems are very interesting though. We do not have that many aircraft
