SEA SPARK-24 was a Joint Services Maritime exercise hosted by the Pakistan Navy at the Arabian Sea and Coastal areas.

How many J-10C has the PAF planned in total?
No one knows only PAF knows respected members here just guessing and having assumptions, if our economy allows in future 75-100 J10C will be possible to aquire

I have been told that the Chinese had put in a condition for providing the easa radars for jf17 .
N that was if PAF bought the j10 only then will the radar will be provided.

So maybe PAF will not be obtaining j10 in the nos. As thought earlier n will be going straight for j31......sooner then we all think.
I wouldn't believe such stories.

Well its more then a story n time will prove it
We experience such underhand tactics in the recent past from our Chinese friends.
The ak1 incident comes to mind where a certain critical component malfunctioned due to which PA refused to take delivery of the tank n it lingered on for about a little less then a year......but as soon as Pakistan signed the deal for vt 4.......low n behold the malfunction disapeared into thin air.

Why is the assumption that they don’t think like capitalists with Pakistan?

Higher than mountains and deeper than seas is just opium fed for the public.

At the end, there are few peoples as stupid, as ignorant and as delusional on their status and importance to ever roam the planet since Allah gave Hazrat Adam abode on earth than Bani Bakistan.

Probably not in this case but there is some “truth” to such occurrences - however it has more to do with Pakistanis first trying cheap shortcut jugaars and ending up smacking their faces on the ground - then running to the Chinese to complain of “quality” upon when they get to the bottom of it making sheepish faces… so the Chinese are vary of any “technical expertise” Pakistan has and don’t want to hand over things to inept unqualified braggarts or in case they get the qualified professionals know to extract a cost.

It is still a mutual back scratch relationship which will continue but the Chinese now have the upper hand in everything with Pakistanis needing to grovel.. far from the 80s to even early 2000s where Pakistanis were trusted advisors on modern technology and tactics…

Is it in the Pakistani attitude towards the Chinese that is part of the problem? Do we apply the same standard when judging them vs Americans or French? When it comes to contracts and support, do we just expect the Chinese will acquiesce to our demands and not act in their own business interests or by the letter of any agreement signed with them?

Block III development had been going on for years before J-10 was contracted for. Fact there were multiple offers of different aesa radars already rubbishes this rumor, not to mention the Chinese are business driven folk, not my way or the highway types. They certainly would not strongarm their largest exporter by stupid tactics like these. And even if one want to assume that is correct, now PAF is all in for J-35s from the same people? Just doesn't make sense to me.

There are camps within the military that prefer western or eastern ties and I can see them trying to rubbish a supplier or equipment for personal gains. In fact even the crook Mir Bajwa did so himself.

There is also no shortage of people that want to self aggrandize and claim insider knowledge of this or that. So my default is being vary of such information and not take it at face value.

When u witness such things from China then these sort of questions arise as Pakistanis in general consider China its brother who will be their for Pakistan in thick or thin.
As thats wt been feed to us since as long as most can remember.

Things certainly have taken a turn n I am sure its our fault as well but like they say it takes two to tango.
N thats the reason for our powerful lot Turing to the west .

The PL15 is 4.5m long. the JF17 can't use the PL15, but the J10C can use the PL15.
the JF17 without the PL15 can't face a Rafale carrying a Meteor.
that's the real reason.
