Yes but no one trusts him so yes he may talk with that ugly smile but no one takes him seriously. When IK talks, the whole worlds listens man . He has a very different aura ..it is not just Pakistan. It his comments reverberate all over the world . He is the person we need. This whole propaganda that he is “stupid” has recently started by the establisement..Tariq fateh and Indians used to spew this when he was the PM. There is no way he is stupid. You cannot mesmerize an audience with ex tempor speeches by being stupid. I remember in Australia when I was a child, he was regarded as a “god” by locals ..I met him briefly and the personality he has was just unbelievable . He has an aura that nawaz, zardari and this FM can never have. He connects with people ..he is believable . Yea he is not a dipolmat but rather a straight shooter. He says what he thinks and thinks what he says. Yea he made mistakes but he needs to be given 5 years to show what he can do

Well, first he has to bear the consequences of his mistakes, then he has to learn from them, and then he can have another try to to get back into power.

It is all up to him, of course, how he wants to do any or all of that.

no his mistake was to put guys like buzdar it he did not do anything to deserve jail time . Dude you are naive if you think he is facing jail because of corruption . Nobody …look at any international source ..dmeven UN has come out and said that his detention was arbitrary. He has nothing g against him ..the only thing they could find is a watch. This is nothing new ..establishment did this with ZAB and finally admitted it. So yea he made mistakes in picking the right team but he needs to be given 5 years to show what he can do

Aleema refuses to leave after Imran meeting denied​

Tight security at Adiala Jail as markets, petrol pumps closed; PTI workers arrive amid barricades

Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, said on Tuesday that the family was left with no option but to protest after being repeatedly stopped from meeting him at Adiala Jail.

“We are not doing anything illegal or unconstitutional. If we are stopped like this every week, what option do we have other than protest?” she said while speaking to the media near the factory check-post.

Sisters of the PTI founder, Aleema Khan, Noreen Khan and Dr Uzma Khan, along with senior party leaders arrived near Adiala Jail for a scheduled family meeting. However, despite Tuesday being designated for family and lawyers’ visits, jail authorities informed Aleema Khan and senior PTI leadership at around 4pm that the meeting would not be facilitated.

Warning that the family would not disperse if the meeting was denied, Aleema Khan said, “If they do not allow the meeting, let them not. We are sitting here peacefully. Today, we have even brought blankets with us.”

Security in and around Adiala Jail was significantly tightened, with additional police contingents deployed, water cannons stationed at Gate No 5, and barricades erected at multiple entry points, including Gorakhpur and the factory check-post. Markets in surrounding areas were shut down, petrol pumps closed, and public and private schools were given the day off. PTI workers also began arriving near the jail amid heightened security.

Aleema Khan said the PTI founder’s demands were limited to constitutional principles.

“The founder’s demand is the restoration of the Constitution, democracy and the rule of law,” she said, adding that Imran Khan had been incarcerated for over two and a half years.

Questioning the repeated denial of meetings, she asked why the PTI founder’s family was not being allowed to meet him in accordance with the law.

“The government should tell us why the family of the PTI founder is not allowed to meet him,” she said.

Referring to broader issues, Aleema Khan said the closure of Afghan trade had rendered many people jobless, while the judiciary had been pushed out of its constitutional independence.

“Conditions in Pakistan are going from bad to worse,” she said.

IK can make another attempt to get back into power choosing any way he thinks offers him the best chances of doing so.

In your post just above the quoted one, you got a feeling meeting Imran felt like he was 'God', then you guys wonder why some of you are called 'Cultists' by senior members like me and VCheng because we know that 'charisma' often doesn't translate to actions. Sigh!
As to this quoted part: Choosing Buzdar may have been a mistake but despite all advice from his well wishers, he stuck with Buzdar till the end while Buzdar dumped him pretty quickly after losing power. Imagine choosing the most important person in Punjab as a bad choice and sticking with that choice for nearly four years--what does that tell you: Not only a 'stupid' person but also an arrogant, stubborn one!
And, no, it was more than the wrist watch. There are many cases against him and wait till General Faiz sings some songs about the May 9 Mutiny.

BTW, Pakistani state was quite lenient on him otherwise he most certainly violated the Constitution of Pakistan by throwing out the No Confidence Motion in 2022; that alone was enough to depose him and put criminal charges again him, his puppet President of Pakistan Mr. Alvi and his puppet Speaker of the National Assembly.
