Bidding for stake in PIA received three bids in total from three corporate consortiums.

1. Arif Habib Group bids USD 410.6 Million.
2. Lucky Cement Group bids USD 362.4 Million.
3. Air Blue bids USD 92.8 Million.
 
Who is the advisor for Habib Group? Pegasus airlines? Interseting to see how they take it forward.
 
Arif Habib is a memon businessman from Karachi. A large number of Karachiites like him successfully established and ran many kinds of businesses based out of Karachi and over the decades have greatly contributed to Pakistan's economy. They don't fool around when trying to a business, and they are also meritocratic. I am sure he and his group will turn PIA around; his group acquired other businesses where they had no experience with but made those businesses successful.
Next, as @Bilal said: The DISCOs power generation companies which are leeching Pakistan while enriching plenty of corrupt politicians sitting in the Parliament. The 'Danda' is coming onto them too...

Did FM Hafiz make PIA sale possible?
If he can ruthlessly cleanse the toxic, acidic, racist system of Pakistan to some extent, it will be a great service.

Same happened with Allied Bank, look where it stands now.
 
They need to sell the Roosevelt hotel in New York City & the scribe hotel in Paris. Sale of both assets could generate at least $2-billion and help inject cash into the Pakistani economy. There’s no reason why Pakistan still owns these hotels, especially Roosevelt hotel which is located in the most expensive area of New York and which is now even lost its status as a homeless shelter.

Expectation.
But nothing good is certain in this hellish land unfortunately, I don't want to use the words, but one cannot expect anything good in pak, sans some good individuals.
PAF shot down IAF Rafael, that was a good work from a good organization.
Some exceptions are anomalies.
