Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I was part of a veteran's group that visited NASTP, cyber command and NIIAOC recently. We were briefed in the ops room and the answer to your question was displayed to us on the screen. The IAF packages, especially the one in Punjab, was again and again trying to ingress towards Lahore area. It was clear as day that they wanted to establish a TARCAP inside Pakistani territory. That was their actual mission under the pretext of bombing so called terrorist camps.

About 2nd question, we are improving our layered IADS with more SHORADS so interception rate will improve. Now, I don't know you believe me or not, but the S-400 umbrella is no more effective and we already know about our BVR advantage. It won't be easy for them to launch in numbers.
Thank You. I believe you brother.
This is new to me TARCAP? what was they thinking? maybe to confuse PAF? so that they can go and easily target bahawalpur? otherwise TARCAP makes no sense especially they knew we have now HQ-9 batteries operational?

For the ALCM i know we are working on shorads and like CIWS kind of system but i want to know, are we thinking something on offensive against these ALCMs threat? defence is okay and i knew but my question was more towards offensive action in response to ALCM that is why i mentioned their s400 and there overall layered air defence system.

What kind of "multi-domain ops" is this even supposed to be?

The center screen looks like Google Maps, but let’s give them the benefit of the doubt—it could be something else. But... but... but... both side screens are definitely showing CCTV footage of some random road, probably just the facility's entry gate.

Someone needs to break the news to them: not all fighter jets arrive on the back of a truck. That’s a "specialty" reserved strictly for the Tejas. 😉🤣😂

And check out that bottom-left computer—they’re still rocking Windows XP. Seriously, what the hell am I even looking at?
Is this before or after May 7th scenes from Bernal’s?

Thank You. I believe you brother.

The offensive response should be to see missile strikes on their main urban centers to send a message that this is not some Bollywood movie. The Hindu nationalists should be hammered hard like their ancestors to ensure they don’t harbor any delusions of thinking themselves as the Isreal of the Middle East.

But I guess mr “maturity and restraint” needs to tie the Pakistan military’s hands in the back to ensure he gets camera time with Donald Trump at the White House.

That is some emotional response we need more like a calm response such that it can really badly hit the indian ALCM capability or we put such fear in them that even well within their territory beyond our SAM and BVR ranges they still have fear in them.

About maturity and restraint, i believe we showed restraint due to our economic condition. we dont want to prolong the war due to our economy. we had done maximum damage on may 7, that shocked indian military and they were then constantly trying to trap our PAF packages but here we played really cool and didnt caught ourselves in their trap. the moment we hit S400 that was the time the indian military completely backed off as in my opinion from may 7 to may 9 late night they were constantly provoking us believing they have the super duper s400 which will hit our PAF fighters if we respond to their provocation using fighter aircraft and that way they tried to equal the score. but PAF done a good job not coming into their trap. That is purely my understanding of these 7-10 may conflict. The only question i had was why didnt we used our long range ALCMs? like Ra'ad 2 or our long range SSM?

Let's talk about what is ahead of us. Indians yesterday claim to test fire AKASH-NG ADS. The significant feature of this ADS is multi-skeer approach. It has dual-pulse propulsion and AESA+IR seeker which made it considerably advanced. So, what esteemed members think of this new system and its implications.

It wouldn't have been an ideal TARCAP but just ingressing in our territory for a minute would have been enough to show the world that thay can violate airspace of a sovereign state like Israel.
Moreover, they wanted some kills against PAF too, whether by S-400 or BVR. So they continued the fight for 50 min in hope of achieving all this.

We destroyed a Brahmos depot in Beas (again, th e requirement of evidence by many) and C2 node in Barnala. Majority of the 34 targets were engaged by drone strikes and with mass production already underway in Pakistan in collaboration with Turkieye, I think loitering munitions will be the most economically feasible option. Not to mention the restraint in escalation which will go towards nuclear if we start using cruise missiles against multiple targets.

It also a matter of benchmark that has been set post GW1. Live target pod feeds, tv bomb flying into targets, BDA images all are now expected baseline not extra privilege.

Even post swift retort feed from H4 was shown, so it’s not out of ordinary to expect the same.
I think we have thrashed this topic enough for now, though I can say we didn't see that feed of H-4 for months. The DG ISPR presser focused on Abhinandan and replies like " we didnt use F-16" can lead to another debate. I don't remember if anything about ground targets came out till September.

If this is true, IAF are definitely idiots of the highest order. the moment you lost first was the moment they should have backed down. This also means they definitely have meteor on their Rafale otherwise with MICA it doesnt make sense but again one can expect any kind of stupidity from IAF

I can only speculate but I think Modi and co. were ready to accept a couple of losses to humiliate Pakistan. That is why their main focus was on optics and a must have requirement of photos/videos to show the public.
I don't think it is a good strategy to only try to win perception war while losing assets like Rafale and S-400, but many will disagree with me.
Militarily, this conflict was a blunder for India and they are just cashing the target photos by using them in PsyOps.
Personally, I am quite satisfied with overall result of this conflict against a much bigger adversary.
