None of these spectacled yes men had the foresight to talk to the Ukraine conflict and IK was left extremely embarrassed and angry by it.

The problem came with IKs own stubbornness because he likes to be seen in the visionary world when unfortunately he has been quite the myopic mystic.

That doesn’t mean that FM is doing any miracles or anything extraordinary but has simply been putting the old playbook to work which the establishment has tried forever.

The playbooks works great in a world in conflict and it is showing - but changes nothing for Pakistan’s internal prosperity or dynamics and instead will lead to the usual outcome of enriching a few while the rest are left holding each others tails.

He will remain COAS, but appoint VCOAS as well as Commander NSC. Could be 2 different people or just one, for both jobs.
