Indian Missiles and Guided Munitions

There are other superior missiles (other than the ballistic ones) in Pakistan's inventory. But the threat posed by you guys was extremely low. A country that started relying on the best missile they have because of the grounding of the air force in Pakistan's first response is not an opponent that should be given so much importance.

This short skirmish ushered in a new era of warfare
Precusion cruise missiles strikes using satalite targeting
To hit hangars runways and indeed any military target you want
Without risking
200 million dollar planes and targets
The air force was not grounded it was on stand by for more effective
And those cruise missiles were launched by Indian fighters like scalp hammer off Rafale and Brahmos off Su30mki
Your grounded story is bust

My question were was Pakistan air force when your Airforce bases were being hit ...where were your planes in the hangars or in hiding

For serious members questioning my reasoning for posting the above, recall what the Indians say about JF17s and our own missile programmes.

We are simply responding in kind. Causing them a nuisance.

Jf17 is not a world class product it's effective budget platform.and the technology to manufacture it in Pakistan comes in crates from china ..

Brahmos is one the best cruise missles on the planet and 1.5 million dollars a shot it's pricy

Even then countries are lined up buying it.

But it's completely built in India no imported content

Stop it Shiv Aroor, it has been so long since your breakdown😁😂😁

And ironically, it is rather “parts coming in crates from China” JF-17s which are getting sold literally like hot cakes in deals worth BILLIONS, and not Russian P-800 Oniks repainted as BrahMos.

Going after the most mentioned figure available on the internet, the Azerbaijan deal -> $4.6bn, and now the Libyan deal -> $4bn+ (total), maybe Iraqi, and more Nigerian deals in the future.

Your BrahMos deal with the Philippines was not even worth $400m, let alone the $1bn mark.

Even then countries are lined up buying it.

Which countries lil bro? Greece? Cyprus? Russia will kick your ass if you ever tried to do that. Other than a few namely; Maybe Vietnam, Indonesia and some Gulf states (unlikely for the time being), Russia will most likely veto the deal instantly.

Russia won't kick India
They are relying on Indian money to buy oil to fight NATO backed Ukraine
Get real

I would not try and compare exports with India
You will get humiliated

70% of that 4 billion is going to china or Chengdu
Since they
Built the airframe
It's a Russian engine
Chinease radar
Chinease weapons

So there is no 4 billion. Coming to Pakistan ...

You exporting a chinease license built fighter

Like India exporting su30mki which the have built in India since year 2000

Correct me if I am wrong; China directly benefits commercially from supplying parts and technology, but it does not receive direct export revenue split from Pakistan's contracts unless there is a specific offset/contract clause which is not publicly disclosed anywhere.

In JF-17 exports (~$4.6bn Azerbaijan and ~$4bn Libya packages), a notable share of component cost + supply chain value would naturally go to these Chinese suppliers.

Now let's go back to the Russian P-800 Oniks repainted as BrahMos -> BrahMos Aerospace is a ~50% Indian and ~49% Russian-owned joint venture... Any deal of BrahMos means: ~49% ownership stake directly entitles Russia to a share of profits from export sales and Russia will veto any deal that poses a threat to its strategic partners such as Turkey (also Pakistan's ally) and China (also Pakistan's ally)... Or are you going to transfer the BrahMos to those Afghan cavemen which we will bomb the crap out of?

These are the Indian companies building the current Brahmos and new generation. Brahmos missiles

The Intial development ten years ago was joint Indo Russian design but since then it's totally Indian designed and Indian manufacturing..

There is new thread in opening with Goldman Sachs predicting six fold increase in Indian defense sector next 20 years ...Modi make in India starts ups are going born some of the biggest defense companies on the planet not just catering for the huge Indian military which is massive by itself but experts globally
The deals for Brahmos pinka Akash missiles is just Infant stage
This is enormous in the future

During the meeting, Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) was approved for the procurement of Loiter Munition System for Artillery Regiments, Low Level Light Weight Radars, Long Range Guided Rocket Ammunition for Pinaka Multiple Launch Rocket System (MRLS), and Integrated Drone Detection and Interdiction System Mk-II for the Indian Army.

According to the press statement, Loiter Munition will be used for precision strike of tactical targets, whereas Low Level Light Weight Radars will detect and track small size, low flying Unmanned Aerial Systems. "Long Range Guided Rockets will enhance the range and accuracy of Pinaka MRLS for effective engagement of high value targets. Integrated Drone Detection & Interdiction System Mk-II with enhanced range will protect the vital assets of the Indian Army in Tactical Battle Area and Hinterland," said the Defence Ministry's press statement.

For the Indian Navy, AoN was accorded for procurement of Bollard Pull (BP) Tugs, High Frequency Software Defined Radios (HF SDR) Manpack and for leasing High Altitude Long Range (HALE) Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS). "Induction of BP Tugs will assist Naval ships and submarines in berthing, unberthing, and maneuvering in confined waters/harbor. The HF SDR will enhance long range secured communication during boarding and landing operations, whereas HALE RPAS will ensure continuous Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance and credible Maritime Domain Awareness over the Indian Ocean Region," said the statement.

For the Indian Air Force, AoN was approved for procurement of Automatic Take-off Landing Recording System, Astra Mk-II Missiles, Full Mission Simulator and SPICE-1000 Long Range Guidance Kits etc. "Induction of the Automatic Take-off Landing Recording System will fill the gaps in the aerospace safety environment by providing high definition all-weather automatic recording of landing and take-off," said the press statement.

Astra Mk-II Missiles with enhanced range will increase the capability of the fighter aircraft to neutralise adversary aircraft from large standoff range. Full Mission Simulator for Light Combat Aircraft Tejas will augment pilots’ training in a cost effective and safe manner, while SPICE-1000 will enhance long range precision strike capability of the Indian Air Force.

Now we need to scrap the older version of the Prithvi missiles.

Now we need to scrap the older version of the Prithvi missiles.

Production of Prithvi stopped some years ago Pralay is the latest Tactical BMs, Prithvis r still good for western front with no ABM…
We produced too many to just let them rot…
I think Pakistan will try to launch BM next time, India can start with Prithvis as they can carry 1000 kg payload for short range 250-350 kms… against Fatah-2 or Shaheen-1?
