The whole point is you will find respecting Christianity and celebrating Christmas in all of India (people donning Santa Claus caps, malls decked up with lights etc.). Yes there are incidences but they are stay if you consider how big the country is and additionally there is a strong push back from the majority against such behavior.

Maybe a tiny minority doing it although the visuals show broad daylight assaults on Christian symbols by the Hindu fanatics. That's very low considering India calls itself a 'secular' country and boasts about being 'the largest democracy in the world'; imagine if some hooded KKK people in a small town Indiana attacked a Black church: There would be huge backlash and legal actions, national level shame and concern in America.
