Just because a structures roof looks darker or has lines doesn’t meant it’s collapsed. Look closer at historical imagery and you’ll see those same lines and divisions between where the colors are changing in older imagery too, it suggests different materials, maybe renovations and repairs etc which react differently to sat imagery.



For example all the dark spots and artifacts/lines for this one are visible in both the before (lower image) and after.
