Pakistan Air Force | News & Discussions

but it did catch something , ask the Bathinda farmers . also i can say the same thing to iaf launching scalps and brahmos , scalps are way more expensive than pl15

Scalp and Brahmos both were targeted on static targets … unlike PL-15 which were fired at agile targets where targets were well out of NEZ of PL-15

the shootdown aircraft refutes your claim

no shit sherlock , are u 12 years old .

Cost benefit ratio is pretty low/nil on other hand All Brahmos hit the targets and except one malfunctioned Scalp all were hit..

India barely sent 20 odd missile … Indian inventory is in 1000s …

Basically India was 100% efficient unlike pakistan.

And next round India will utilise cheaper systems as effectiveness of both HQ-9 and HQ-16 was pretty low

straight up lie , so many examples of them in field .

extreme levels of cope detected , how is a million dollar missile downing a 200 million jet not efficient .

You are making up half of the stuff you have written here, btw. Every time I see an Indian guy yapping his figures, they are ALWAYS different from the previous yapper.

On odd days, you guys are like -> 'we launched less than 18 missiles saar,' and then on even days you yap what that IAF official had said earlier -> '~50 missiles akchuli.'

Anyway, the PL-15Es (E for extended btw) which got the ass of your IAF jets were produced in 2015, just imagine what we will be fielding in the next round, freshly dispatched from China

Wasting couple of million dollar of BVR missile,
hoping that somehow it catches something

The PAF bagged 4 x Rafales, 1 x Su30MKI, 1 x Mig29, 1 x Mirage 2000, 1 x Large UAV...

The 20-40 BVR missiles that were shot off that night cost at most 80 million dollars at most, yet they caused close to $1billion dollars of damage. That return on investment ratio for that is fantastic, I don't think anyone can say otherwise.

I have stopped debating with Indians. They claim that we are rich and can afford loss of 7 jets to achieve our objectives. Here, he is trying to spin that IAF is careful not to waste money while PAF fires blindly, hoping for a fluke. I can tell you from personal experience that this claim is another one in line of "ROE" and "not important we lost jets" statements. We don't train or fight that way. But good for us if they still don't get PAF mindset.
