Venezuela - US Conflict: News, Updates

People are saying that it emboldens China and Russia.

It simply highlights their depravity uncivilised nature despite outward claims when compared to the civilised global south who literally just want to live in an equal world. Of course, the West cannot accept that....

The global south won't follow suit but they may hasten their efforts to end this unipolar world with exceptionalist ideologies.

Guess Maduro is about to be going to court here in New York:

Maduro probably knew it was coming, probably told his guards to stand down and allowed himself to get arrested. Didn’t want to go out like Tony Montana.

Latin America as a whole lost what sovereignty it had thought it had clawed back in the last few decades.

After this raid, why wouldn’t Trump take out the regime in Cuba and Columbia, solidifying his support amongst Cuban and Columbian American voters as well.

And move the embassy to Jerusalem.

In light of what has happened, would people really vote for her? That would be interesting for sure.

  • Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani said her country “stands firmly” with US President Donald Trump after the strikes. “When America leads, we proudly stand together — because our collective freedom depends on it,” she posted on X.
  • Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen called the strikes a “dramatic development,” the country’s foreign ministry said in a post on X. “We need to get back on track toward de-escalation and dialogue. International law must be respected,” he said, according to the ministry.
Laughable statements.

Notice the phraseology of multiple countries, seeking "deescalation"  after the deed is done/ fait accompli.

One must conclude that any statement seeking "deescalation" is actually a statement in full support of USA's criminal belligerence, piracy, and warmongering. The usage of the word is a false attempt to portray neutrality, humanitarianism or impartiality, when it truth, it is a rather meaningless word - of course matters will deescalate after fait accompli!

Pakistani members should take note of this modern lexicon of the imperialist, lest we be deceived by those who pretend to have Pakistani interests at heart.

Identical statements from world leaders seeking "deescalation" after Hindustan would have snatched Pakistani land either in 2019 or in 2025 were fully prepped and ready for deployment from countless western capitals. Indeed, they would only ever ask for deescalation after Delhi had achieved its objectives. Imagine if Pakistan takes Indian territory, which is entirely possible given the incompetence of the Indian defence industry and the general cowardice of their people - do we think the same western capitals would be calling for "deescalation"?

Gosh, to see the disbelieving looks on their imperialist faces in 2019 or 2025 when their favoured saffron vanguard were sent home to hide in their shelters and ports by the indomitable defenders of Pakistan.

Russia seeks "immediate clarification" on US claims that it has captured Maduro

The Russian Foreign Ministry called for “immediate clarification” on the situation in Venezuela Saturday, after the US said it had captured and removed President Nicolas Maduro and his wife from the country.

“We are extremely concerned by reports that Venezuelan President Maduro and his wife were forcibly removed from the country during today’s aggressive actions by the United States,” the ministry said in a statement.
“We call for immediate clarification of this situation,” it added.

Russia said that such actions, if true, constitute an “unacceptable violation of the sovereignty of an independent state, respect for which is a key principle of international law,” the statement added.

The ministry earlier condemned what it called an “act of armed aggression against Venezuela” by the US, calling any “excuses” given to justify such actions “untenable.”
Russia the OG zionist entity is feigning ignorance and shock when they are completely onboard with this latest transgression on behalf of zionism

I really wished the night the US left Bagram, PAF C-130s fly into Bagram, within an hour and SSGs had picked up all the TLP guys, right from their cages. Carting them straight to interrogation and helping to breakdown the TLP networks.

We have to give credit to Trump, that this is how you employ power. Make a bold move when you know no one will oppose you or have enough time to organize a counter move.
Good point. But Trump is very bold and seems to plan ahead than most.

So I guess we are officially in a era where power matters, and international law be damned ? now this is for those who always say I criticize USA, this is again a Foreign policy matter and not USA internal issue hence I am commenting on it. But yeah I disagree with what USA did, it further devalue US position in Global standing and give excuse to others to behave like that, Americans fear China will take Taiwan but USA has bombed several countries all without any UNSC and international law.
It was always so. There was a thin veil on it where either by arm twisting or other means US used to get international “consensus”. Now that veil is being dropped but practically it’s all the same.

Since when is a conflict between the US and Venezuela a conflict between equals?
The US makes it look easy. Ukrainian exploits deep inside Russia are also an eye opener. Perhaps a lot is possible with a good plan backed by considerable strength and advanced technology.

Being reasonable, isn't the same as being scared

If anything, China is behaving more rational and reasonable than the u.s
they are scared.

if you keep everything china has. (chokehoold on rare earth, industrial capacity, naval size) but swapped out the population and leadership for an american one

they would have invaded taiwan yesterday

the han have everything but courage

they will build another 100 ships and do another 50 exercises but never pull the trigger

Maduro is a wanted narcoterrorist dictator. An illegitimate dictator that has destroyed his country. This was a long time coming.
Trump is a pedophile who was blackmailed by a foreign nation.

We all know this is a distraction from his domestic matter.

I would argue Trump is the bigger threat to humanity than any "narcoterrorist" or "illegitimate dictator" purely on that basis.

Of course, many would argue that Trump too has destroyed his own country, along with helping to and trying to destroy several others.

The so-called 'Spheres of Influence' article on NY Times from May 2025.

Trump’s Vision: One World, Three Powers?

President Trump’s recent actions and statements suggest he might want an arrangement where the United States, China and Russia each dominate their sphere of influence.

...
His actions and statements suggest he might be envisioning a world in which each of the three so-called great powers — the United States, China and Russia — dominates its part of the globe, some foreign policy analysts say.

It would be a throwback to a 19th-century style of imperial rule.
