Do Americans really care about oil prices or rent prices ?

Gas is like $2.50 a gallon right now. It costs 25 dollars to fill up your tank unless you choose to drive a huge SUV that has 17 gallon tank.

Gas is very cheap in the US.

Rent is 1300 a month for 750 sq ft apartment one bedroom lol

Cost of food and groceries is way up

You aren't struggling because of gas prices. And any lower gas prices won't make a single difference.

It's your rent and mortgage cost + cost of healthcare that's wrecking havoc on your finances and wellbeing

Will dumb Americans ever figure it out ?

My bro, a military operation leading to ouster of another country's leader with surgical precision is very likely to be a complex affair involving different actors and significant planning in advance. The Venezuelan security apparatus is not small and it is possible that somebody there was told to stand down or face death as the CIA had infiltrated Venezuela before the operation. So maybe you are right to some extent. But there is also a fairly good explanation backed by visual evidence of how the Venezuelan defenses were crippled here and here. Regardless, this development is stunning and have shocked many observers around the world. It is worth studying.

No it doesn't. Israeli shekel keeps getting stronger for some strange reason while US dollar gets weaker and weaker every year.

Simply Americans middle class cannot keep up with inflation and housing costs is artificially being boosted it's not demand

US government keeps spending trillions for Israel and other stupid things increasing national debt weakening the dollar

Everyone is borrowing money while costs continue going up every year

This is absolutely insane:

Venezuela currently has 303 billion barrels of crude oil reserves, which Trump says the US now controls.

Oil prices are trading at ~$57/barrel, making Venezuela's total reserves worth $17.3 TRILLION.

Even if the US sells this oil for HALF of the market rate, that's still $8.7 TRILLION.

In other words, in 12 hours, the US has gained control of oil reserves worth more than the entire GDP of ALL countries in the world, aside from the US and China.

That's 4 TIMES larger than the GDP of Japan.

Most people do not realize how much the world just changed.

Oil markets will react to this news for the first time on Sunday at 6 PM ET.

The next few days will be critical.


I think China and Russia should NOT ignore Venezuela's oil huge markets.

Now this is a whole new dimension to it. The US and the KSA are looking forward to establish a closer bilateral relationship including a security pact. The US can also help transform Saudi economy with its move in Venezuela. Stunning.

Highly unlikely. Flooding the global markets with excess oil will help no one at all, including USA.
