Iran and its allies have repeatedly suffered defeats by underestimating their enemies.
Maduro was not negotiating any deals.
The reality is now clear, it was a lightning operation employing massive numbers of stealth fighters, electronic warfare aircraft, helicopters, and special forces.
If the US were so inclined, it could strike Tehran today and kill either the president or Khamenei.
A nation cannot defend itself unless it has the courage to acknowledge the enemy's formidable strength.
People have laughed at how Kim Jong-un of the DPRK obsessively fears assassination. Yet he was 100% correct.
He knew the US could abduct a nation's president overnight if it chose to.
Frankly, his caliber as a politician and military leader was on a different level from the Ayatollahs.

This foolish preaching of a master plan and secret weapons and Iran all powerful and that assassinations and sabotage can’t hurt and that they only show how desperate Iran’s enemies are.

Do you know when Venzenula was screwed? When Hyper inflation hit. When grocery stores were empty. When Iran had to send tankers and technicians to keep its barely functioning refineries working.

This was Long before a unified opposition group or Trump wanting Maduro gone.

In iran, cooking oil is becoming hard to find. Currency is rapidly depreciating. Beef and chicken are absurdly expensive. First it was Syria and then it was Venzenula, next will be iran.

You cannot run a country without global trade or access to the U.S. dollar. The dumb leadership in Iran should have considered that before they decided to wage Holy War on Israel and U.S. with only an oil based economy 40 years ago.

The writing is on the wall. Iran is next in line, it’s already in runaway collapse mode. If the Supreme Leader dies tomorrow it’s gonna be chaos as everyone jockeys for power.
 
There's appears to be an agreement.

Russia will get Ukranian territory and China gets Taiwan, provided they let US do whatever in South America.

After Venezuela, they will go after Cuba, Bolivia and Mexico. Backyard needs to be stabilized first.

Pressure on Iran will increase but military action, if any, would likely come from Zion.

What do you expect from them? They think IRI with its 300B economy and 50% inflation rate is going to outlast the country who literally prints the worlds reserve currency.

He was not home....he was supposedly in a safe house. But according to reports, the CIA had a an insider close to maduro monitoring his movement.
