So the largest oil reserve in the world has been taken over by the USA and they are doing this to save Venazuela?
They arent even trying to sugar coat it.
Daylight or daynight robbery at work. They have become international terrorists - yet go around criticising and bully others?

The US constitution stipulates US president doesn’t need approval by the Congress for this special military operation.
He doesn’t need approval, either if he starts wars against Iran, Cuba, Columbia, Greenland and 100 other countries. As long as he has the money, don’t declare war then everything ok, no approval needed.

The Congress can stop the war by cutting funding when the president runs out of money.

The executive branch does not control the budget; you can't do anything without money, in the old days, the President had 30 days to notify the congress of any planned military action. And the President can only act in this manner without congress approval when there is a national emergency.
