This doesn’t seem like trump fighting to make the world a better place it’s more like trump enriching him and his family for a very long time if this guy doesn’t try to go for a third term if he doesn’t die from natural causes I would be very surprised and if he does try and is stopped and as many yes man in the military he has now I can definitely see a coup in a few years again he tried once this time he is in a better place to succeed

Columbia needs to shift from coca farming but it is unclear that this shift is possible anytime soon or intentionally overlooked. Trump may not have sufficient time or patience for it.

These South American countries are accustomed to the US looking the other way or being lenient with them. But Trump admin is adopting a hardline stance for them, a first in the region. Now they all are in shock or in a bind.

Considering the "War of Drugs" has been going for 40 some years now, at some point you have to decide "are we really going to end this or not?" When Reagan first announced it, I said then the only things that would be accomplished was more government and more government control over our lives. It was "Mission Accomplished". Yet, the flow of drugs continues.

Friend, while I agree with most of what you are saying, and agree with most individuals here that condemn US attack on a sovereign nation, and taking out a sovereign leader; There is something we have to get correct here.

Socialism and it’s worst form communism is garbage system. Socialism has never done any good for humanity whatsoever. Today most of the world is rich because of Capitalism, in fact even your nation, if it hadn’t adopted Capitalism and remained with Communism would have people starving everywhere dying by the thousands.

And you don’t need sanctions, or enmity, Socialism as a system impoverishes a people.

Is what the US did good? No, they are going against a rule based order defying every international custom.

Are Venezuelans going to he better off after? Most definitely, especially if they adopt Capitalism because Capitalism is the social system of private ownership of the means of production, in which economic calculation is possible through market prices formed by voluntary exchange.

In a way this is good for Venezuela as it’s people can get rid of that garbage system called socialism, but bad for the world because it erodes rules and international trust.

Capitalism as is best defined is: “Capitalism is the social system of private ownership of the means of production, in which economic calculation is possible through market prices formed by voluntary exchange.”

Capital is essentially free markets unhampered by governments. The only role government should ever have, is to protect life, liberty, property.

Or rather Name one nation that came close today or in history that allowed complete free trade?

Don’t confuse governmental politic acts with free markets, what a government does is not because of free markets.

If free markets truly existed worldwide, and I mean truly existed worldwide, each nation would specialize in their respective domains of production to benefit the citizens of the world. Imagine paying €0.50 for a dozen eggs instead of €6, Imagine paying €2000 for a new car instead of paying €20,000.

I haven’t seen many videos of the attack but if this video is true, it was a massive attack on Venezuela prior to abduction of their President

Trump is writing cheques he can't cash. Promises he make to improve lives of venezuela but with what money? After oil profits by companies there is no where near enough to rebuild venezuela with estimates up to or over a trillion dollars. Soon these same free venezuelans will be burning oil pipelines in protest demanding more money.

Donald Trump doesn't care about his own American people imagine about Venezuela. He cares about the oil. Hopefully the Venezuelan people will resist this baron oil thief’s coming to their country.

That's literally not how this shit works, and is an uneducated view of what capitalism and free market is.

I don't want to hear an opinion about economics from someone who probably doesn't even know what the accounting equation is, and doesn't understand credits and debits.

You arent making an argument, you're making personal declarations and trying to pass them off as facts.
