UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaches Islamabad on first official visit to Pakistan

Didn't Pakistani PM show up at Trump's Gaza peace summit?

Where there is smoke, there is fire

If UNSC backed troops from many nations are deployed as shield between the IDF and the Gazans then nothing wrong with that even though I am uncomfortable Pakistan's any military involvement in the Middle Eastern affairs, including even the Mutual Defense Treaty with Saudi Arabia. But Pakistani or any forces would never agree to 'disarm' the Gazans. Anyway, MBZ was not in Pakistan to push for Pakistan's deployment in Gaza.
As to Trump nominated for the Nobel Prize, yes, it was a little cringe worthy for the Pakistan PM to have that long effusive speech but if mere lip service can help Pakistan majorly upgrade its fleet of 70+ F16s fighter jets along with being on the 'Good side' of a Superpower for trade, then not too bad to do the lip service.

UAE seems to be pushing a lot of Washington's pet projects

Yes, but certainly UAE doesn't have the influence to make Pakistan deploy in Gaza. Pakistan might do that if certain parameters are defined but there will be other Muslim countries also involved in the deployment. The one country which can put enormous pressure on Pakistan is America and American-allies combined. But so far I have not seen that pressure but you never know about President Trump.
Gaza is not the topic here.

I never said the UAE has influence. The UAE is more like a messenger or errand boy. You make it sound like peacekeeper deployment is an absolute must. It is an idea fraught with dangers for all parties involved - Israel, Hamas, peacekeepers

Right. No country is thrilled about being part of the peacekeeper force in Gaza even with the UNSC mandate. Indonesia was one of the first one courageously offering its soldiers and kudos to them.
Anyway, this is offtopic here.
