Well remembered regarding Lindsey Graham and Khan. Seems an age ago now. The Indian ambassador evidently needs to consider a new lobbying angle. Clearly Graham is sympathetic to those handsome Indus derived folk.

The US bureaucry, federal institutions, intelligence and political infrastructure along with the MIC runs things. The president is a puppet. They always have been since JFK was killed and made an example.

The US has decided to downgrade India in its treatment to what India always has been: A downtrodden, extremely backwards, stupidly superstitious, poverty stricken heap of garbage pretending what it is not and never has been. The Indians got lucky for a while due to the USSR relations and then the 9/11 world.

India was given one task, which it was pretending at: put up a front against China. But it is like asking a door knob to build a tank. Not possible. The USA has realised this and the Zionist driven policies towards India has given the USA nothing.

Case example: The Biden govt openly negotiated for a withdrawal from Afghanistan, Trump 2.0 continued it.

Example 2: Trump 1.0 set the tone for upping the ante towards China, Biden mostly left it in place, and Trump 2.0 took it from where he left.

Example 3: Biden laid the foundations of supporting the opposition in Venezuela, Trump 2.0 continued it.

Example 4: Ukraine. Trump 1.0 approved for and provided the weapons/$$ to Ukraine, Biden continued it, Trump 2.0 took over where Biden left and continues.

Example 5: The energy pipeline from Qatar through KSA, into Joran, into Syria, into Turkiye into Europe. The Syrian dictatorship under Bashar declined the Obama Admin's offer for this project from the USA/Europe and instead invited Russians/Gazprom to build the infrastructure. Over the years the incoming US presidents continued the policy until Bashar was removed.

Nordstream was stopped, disrupted and destroyed in front of everyone because because of very reason. The European industry needs energy and that will come from this pipeline.

The president does not run the empire.

The Indian ambassador was in private and BEGGING Graham to interlocute on behalf of India and ask Trump to relieve 25% of the tariffs.

Please rise above this typical squint eye view and see the bigger picture.
If India was really under any pressure, shouldn’t it have signed the deal as asked by Trump? Didn’t Trump say in Nov that India is trying to please him by agreeing to the deal?

Infact India has held off all the pressure and seems to be toying with Trump and his henchmen that many people keep quoting. Have you heard any word from Navarro off late? He used to dish a daily social media triad against Modi. What happened to him?

It is not a bad idea to appreciate a good move even by an adversary. India holding off Trump administration over Trade Deal is nothing less than stellar.
