What is going on? This is the second shooting involving I.C.E?

So will the FBI run with this investigation as well? Considering the agents are feds and not local PD?
FYI (AI quick search):

In Minnesota, the use of deadly force, including a firearm, is strictly limited to situations where a person reasonably believes it is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to themselves or another, regardless of whether they are in a vehicle. Firing a gun from a vehicle (a "drive-by shooting") is a felony, except in lawful self-defense scenarios.

Key Legal Principles
  • Imminent Threat Standard: To be legally justified in a defensive shooting, you must have a reasonable belief that deadly force is immediately necessary to protect yourself or others from death or serious injury. The threat must be specific and likely to occur absent your action.
  • Necessity: The use of force must be necessary to prevent the harm. If a reasonable alternative exists (e.g., retreating, driving away), deadly force may not be considered justified.
  • Reasonable Belief (Subjective and Objective): The belief that deadly force is necessary must be genuine (subjective) and one that a reasonable person in the same circumstances would share (objective).
  • Shooting at Vehicles: Many law enforcement policies and legal experts advise against shooting at a moving vehicle simply to disable it, due to the high public safety risk of an undirected two-ton vehicle. The vehicle itself must be the imminent threat of death or great bodily harm, not just a means of escape.

Great, thank you so much for sharing this.

what do you mean? is leftist liberal beliefs and activism illegal? Just an FYI, I love the beach, the ocean and sailing but I avoided going to Brighton because I didn't want my kids seeing same sex couples engaged in PDA when I lived in London. I'm a church going gun toting conservative but I also don't judge people for loving who they love in the privacy of their homes. I loath the idea of government handouts fiscal irresponsibility, some on the left may call me a not so "innocent mom".
All I'm suggesting is that the media is busy portraying an image of a person that they want you to see while at the same time painting the government in an image they want you to see. To quote Phaedrus, "Things are not always as they seem; the first appearance deceives many."

Actually, the 3rd or possibly 4th. There was one in the Brighton Heights neighborhood of Chicago during Operation Midway Sweep as well as one over in Franklin Park.
Was it bricks of peace by any chance? This is what worries me about passive resistance or even non violent active resistance. You test the threshold of tolerance between someone carrying out a lawful order and armed with a gun and able to use it, it goes bad very quickly.

In both the Chicagoland incidents, the suspects both dragged ICE agents who were attempting to remove them from their vehicles during the traffic stops.

Justified shooting then. Interfering with a LE employee carrying out a lawful order, illegal use of force/assault against LE employee. I mean, the moment you get hands on - you know its going to go south. Especially when you consider the risks that LEOs face in countries like the US where people may be armed.
