Official figures say 30 million men between 20-50 years can be mobilized. If Putin lowers the age to 18-60 he can recruit millions more men for the war against Ukraine. Whether those Russians fit or unfit for the war that’s another question.

Not everyone can be mobilized. Most work mundane jobs like teachers, bus drivers, farmers, cleaners, security, police officers, factory workers, IT staff, doctors who simply keep society running. Only a small fraction of men can be mobilized to serve in the army.

Considering this conflict lasts decades if not centuries, both sides only mobilize a small number of men to keep society functioning.

Nah. You need to stop thinking Russia is Soviet Union and it's fighting a war over 3,000 km away in Kabul. Russia is fighting in Ukraine and Kiev is only 150 km away from the Russian border.

The whole war is about Russia getting it's territory back which it has, and nobody can do anything about it. If that bit a land is not important, then Europe and US wouldn't be throwing hundreds of billions at it to somehow get it back.

You should be surprised why Russia has lasted nearly 4-years against NATO in the first place despite NATO has thrown everything at Russia.

The US allocated only $66B in military aid to Ukraine, and $0 in the last year. 1.2M dead and wounded Russians and tens of thousands of equipment losses for $66B? Thats less than 10% of what the US spends annually on its defense budget. Thats an obvious victory for the US.

He's good at making people laugh though and scamming Europe and the US for hundred of billions of dollars.

If you look at the amount of money the US and Europe has spent on the war so far (nearly 4 years), they've still not managed to get even an inch of the annexed territory back. That shows you that Europe and the US cannot and will not win the war. They forget that they are fighting Russia, not some Russian Empire like the Soviet Union which they could afford to let go.

If I was you I would care more of Iran. Less on Ukraine. Iran is about to collapse from within. Israel and the US are about to bomb it again. Maybe Pakistan can help?

The millions dead Russians are coming from poor far eastern part of Russia. Nobody care of in Russia.

Let’s be honest, this war is a classic sunk cost fallacy. Putin can’t end the war, because he’s invested so much lost manpower and equipment with so little gained in return. That’s why he can’t justify ending it to the Russian people.

So here we are, almost Year 5 of the war, and Putin high on hopium that he can outlast the Ukrainians.
