Historical prejudices against Caribbean Blacks apart, in British society, generally, all the minorities are looked at in the same light, more or less.
Pakistanis were targeted most because of the locals' bias against Islam.
Indians were, and to some extent still get, the pass.
Even though, in the USA, Canada and Australia, the perception against Indians has changed rapidly due to their shenanigans, in the UK the old status quo is maintained. One more change is visible in the UK: compared to the Gujratis and Sikhs in the past, the majority of the new Indian arrivals in the UK are South Indians. In my opinion, they have overtaken the Gujratis and Punjabi Indians.

Worst one is battering up the Singhs. Sikhs are NOT our allies! when the Sikh regiment or Punjab regiment takes up arms to fire across the border or a Sikh General gives the orders to launch attacks they are the chosen enemy.
