This sloppy Telegraph article says Jf17 excelled against the Rafale but it was actually the J10/PL15 combo.

You need to understand that it was not just J10 floating alone in air with pl15. Multiple ac along with other systems were involved. Just think of foot ball, it’s not just the player doing the touch down, but other players and team working together to give that player the shot in the end. So JF17 was involved and deployed in combat.
