There can’t be bigger snub than this one given by India to Poles. Their FM was chided on camera about selective stance. Jaishankar would have known very well that such open statements aren’t for actual change but to show the other side, their true standing.Yes, 'That's Enough' was something!!
But @Vkdindian1 : Even in this short video, the Polish FM, while being in India, is still diplomatically lecturing India: Notice how he said 'Hope', suggesting to India that don't forget your own colonial history as you ignore Russia's neo-colonialist war on Ukraine.
PS. I believe the Poles are the most anti-Russian of all Europeans and the Polish FM is not going to deviate from that position.
When accosted by media the Polish FM lost his shirt in public and had to almost run away rather than take on media. It also showed how weak his footing was. So the joke is not on Indian media but on the Polish team.
Agree.. Economic factors are a great motivation for secession. The people of Arunachal ( South Tibet or Zangan ) have already shown their inclination to merge with China with a $20 trillion economy . They frequently travel across the border to Tibet for employment. Arunachal may one day merge with China,. Something similar might happen with Nagaland Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur and Tripura who would like closer economic relations with China as independent countries. An independent Christian majority state ( the very first in South Asia) has been proposed in for the Zomi people comprising Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal and parts of the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh and western Myanmar. The armed forces are never enough. We have seen how East Pakistanis favored Indian economic opportunity over concept of Pakistan. The same may happen with Sindhudesh, Punjabistan, Balochistan and Pakhtunistan.
In some quarters, Pakistanis hate their armed forces more than they oppose India.
So what did the "snub" if any actually achieve? In retrospect would better Indian Polish relations have facilitated the exodus of Indian students in Ukraine who went there at the behest of the overseas education mafia racket? It was hilarious to see "brown skin " Indian students being stopped at the Polish border with complete silence from Laser eyes. Did the Indian students get their money back? There can’t be bigger snub than this one given by India to Poles. Their FM was chided on camera about selective stance. The chiding and lecturing seems to be coming from the Polish FM and the NDTV reporter got more than he bargained for. The history lesson on India's colonial subjugation by "Europeans" was quite interesting and the Polish FM didn't refer to Ajit Doval's recent fulminations over "revenge for History " (referring to India's subjugation by non-European "Muslim s" )When accosted by media the Polish FM lost his shirt in public and had to almost run away rather than take on media. It also showed how weak his footing was. So the joke is not on Indian media but on the Polish team.
Most posters love Poland for the help given in training Pakistani pilots at a critical time (1947-48) in Pakistan's history, when Pakistan was truly bankrupt and a near failed state, completely defenseless and on the point of losing control of its airspace to a 7 times larger aggressive enemy . Today the legacy of those Polish pilots lives onI know that most posters love Poland for the comment they made about India importing Russian oil. India has given back to Poland in the same coin.
Why should India's retort require applause or adulation from Pakistan or pdf members? But Indian retort is considered meaningless because it doesn’t suit one’s narrative.
Is Poland by itself interested in exercising any influence in the region? Poland is a NATO member, and "influence in the region " has been via NATO. Polish troops and armed forces have engaged in operations in Afghanistan ( transiting through Pakistan) for 20 years fighting the Taliban. 44 Polish troops have been killed during the ISAF NATO operations. That is far more influence than most countries in the region have exerted.Let me assure everyone here that Poland has no wherewithal to be able to exert any influence in this region. Polish FM was going ahead of himself last year and was shown his place during his visit to India.
I think it was in very bad taste to invite a top diplomat to your country and then behave like Jaishankar did.
That applies to Poland too. He wanted to climb the high horse of colonialism regarding Ukraine but has maintained complete silence on Greenland. Ukraine is a European problem and they have messed it up. It is on them to fix it. They have no moral high ground to lecture anyone.India's own colonial past to suggest don't apply double standards on Russia-Ukraine
Precisely the reason that he should know the size of his boots and stay within them. Unnecessary jumping and moral policing should be left to nations with that kind of clout. He couldn't do anymore without jeopardizing his original mission which must be about $$.

Mr Krzysztof Kamil Gawkowski YOU THE MAN tell these stinking COW DUNG munchers...
Giving the middle finger to Ukraine hurt a lot ofSure did. Like how India gave middle finger to Ukraine and funded Russian war machine. But does that mean India showed it to those who drink "virgin" blood?

The people of Goa and Pondicherry lament being liberated in 1960. As residents of overseas territories of Portugal and France, today they would have been EU member country citizens with visa free travel and employment advantages.
Pakistan was simply used as a stick to justify India Russia relationship. Europeans especially the poles probably had a regular diplomatic relations including any sale or support of techs to pk. But labeling you as a dangerous country akin to what Russia is to Europe will only put more restrictions on you. Who do you think the Europeans are going to sign a trade deal with? How do Indians feel about this, given that Poland is quite literally leveraging the level of its relations with Pakistan as a means to force India into making yet more concessions in its relationship with Russia?
Poles got a similar knack at this as well. When Indian team visited Poland we were questioned about our relationship with Russia. This time we returned the favour. So did Poland make enemy out of us? No, we didn't make enemy out of them either. But maybe this is an opportunity for Shabas and Supreme commander to visit the poles and convey your condolencesIndia seems to have an amazing knack of developing enemies out of thin air. Invite Polish FM to India, and instead of privately expressing your point of view you try and humiliate him in front of the camers, then your Jigo Modi media chase him for an anti-Pakistan sound bite.
Pak Ministry of Foreign affairs can put all their staffers on a long holiday. Laser eyes is doing the job for them,
Which country do you think is likely to be slapped with more tariffs by the USA because it is buying oil from Russia?Who do you think the Europeans are going to sign a trade deal with?
