Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Yemen rebels threaten new Red Sea attack as US aircraft carrier heads toward Iran

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Yemen’s Iranian-backed Houthi rebels threatened new attacks on ships traveling through the Red Sea corridor, likely trying to back Iran as it worried Monday about an approaching U.S. aircraft carrier after President Donald Trump threatened military action over its crackdown on nationwide protests.

A short video by the Houthis included previously published images of a ship on fire, with the caption: “Soon.”

I couldn't be here for last ~20 days but i can guess what western media/spy agencies cooked through social media ( telegram and instagram mostly) during that time. based on my own observation they failed badly to recruit from younger generation of Iranians to theirs side ( mostly under 25 years old) then they switched to plan B which was violence in "hope" to get pubic support.

Here is the problem:

U.S. has 180 F-22’s. Even if we say a pathetic 50% are combat ready that’s still 90 F-22’s that could fly over Iran (not even counting the hundreds of F-35s).

How will the Iranian air defense team stop the F-22 from bombing the entrances of these bases?

For ones with silos, You can leave teams inside the silos 24/7 to fire whatever they can out of the silos. But not all underground bases are silos. And if F-22’s dominate the skies dropping a PGM thru those silo doors isn’t tough as the are not ICBM hardened silos they are basically just holes carved into a mountain with a cover.

I would be surprised if all 20+!aren’t already know by intelligence services. After all many were found by OSINT members. Their entrances and construction create visible signatures from space that an AI algorithm could shift thru images and detect any new construction.

For example, the Vera Rubin telescope (largest digital telescope on earth) uses AI to parse thru 20 TB of images nightly looking for asteroids moving in the night sky that haven’t been documented. Now imagine what CIA or space force has access to. The era of hiding stuff in remote regions from satellites has come to a close. Maybe in a country the size of China, not in Iran with a very distinct topography.

I don’t like this direct confrontation with the U.S. because Iran is not set up well for losing its skies. Sure it could hit some installations and maybe even hit a few ships. But to what end? A shoot out with the U.S. is not something it can win. And mass killing of U.S. soldiers will only get people in Trumps base to be more pro war.

Not sure how IRGC is going to play this. It didn’t perform well when it was Israel vs Iran and Israel flying from 1200 miles away every day. How can we expect better performance against the U.S. that has far more airbases and a carrier fleet?

Not trying to be a Debbie downer. But these were the same concerns I had when we lost HZ and Syria.

If you sit and do the game theory mental exercise on this, there’s not a whole lot of options for iran here. The goal was having Iraq, Syria, Hamas, HZ, Houthis able to start a regional war. There’s really only the Houthi’s now. Iraq PMUs might do some rocket attacks but nothing they haven’t done in the past
I got the number 20 because Israeli affiliated OSINT accounts showed satellite images of significant damage to 22 SSM bases in West Iran

excavators should be stored inside the base, not outside, so it is harder to target them

you need very intense sortie rate over prolonged period of team to keep all the entrances blocked

there is no perfect solution, just more and more entrances, more and more hardened silos, more and more distributed mobile TELs constantly changing location, and better SHORAD protection at the sites

US apparently withdrew its THAAD battery from Israel as of December 2025

A blockade of oil to and from Iran could invite Iran to close the Straits of Hormuz in response. If Iran can't profit from oil revenue, why should we let the Arabs and GCC states who host US Bases the ability to profit from oil while Iran suffers? Iran must adopt a scorched-earth policy.

Few diaspora Iranians (not all) have immense level of self hatred which makes them go irrational.
Definitely the case here in Scandinavia. My take on Irans domestic issue is irrelevant but I cannot for the life of me understand how many Iranians I have met here who want Trump to attack Iran. How much hatred do you have that you want another nation to come in and bomb your people because it might lead to a different government.

New joke about Iran's counter-intelligence - Mossad spies search for Mossad spies among Mossad spies.

"In Tehran, if you see two men whispering, one is a Mossad agent. If you see three men whispering, two are Mossad agents and the third is their supervisor from the IRGC... who is also on the Mossad payroll."

If there is an attack, hit Israel, and hit UAE......mine the strait and keep firing those missiles for weeks if possible....the pressure of Asia and Europe will bring the US to the table. If we don't...well, we're still toast, albeit it will be slow death.

So, just to be clear, you see Iran as dead, the only choices are between a quick death or a slow one?

I disagree. I think that all sides can, and should, be able to work out a middle ground compromise that is workable for all sides. No death and destruction is necessary.

I wonder if the killing of protesters in the U.S makes it more difficult to target Iran because of the alleged harm to protesters

Google map co-ordinates of American THAAD in Negav desert in Israel can be found on goggle using co ordinates 31.498098,34.805591

Iran need to avoid hitting everything else and hit the AN-TPY-2 radar

The THAAD without a radar is useless, taking out the launchers is no good if the main radar that controls those launchers is still active plus it has 6 launchers and only 1 radar

Weakest link in the THAAD is the radar

Thats mind control and programming

it is a test, which will be applied on Pak. soon

at the outset, it was labelled as 'velvet revolution' by the CIA
