Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

_Arabia_ @Haz

I have witnessed some friction between Syrians and Iraqis in Twitter.

Iraqis saying that they will send Syrians next to Yezid if they come close to border.
Syrians saying after SDF, majosis in Iraq needs to be dealt with.

I was not aware that Iraqis and Syrians dislike each other.. or is that case? What's the meaning for this?
We are talking about a minority of Iraqi Shia Arabs that cannot accept the fact that Syria is once again, like throughout most of recorded history during the Islamic era, ruled/dominated by the majority Syrian Sunni Arabs. Those are internal Arab dynamics (rivalries) at play here. On the other hand the Iraqi Sunni Arabs were and are rejoicing at the recent Syrian advances against the terrorist Kurdish cults.

They are irrelevant as well for that matter, the Shias in the Arab world make up around 10% of the Arab population. The ones in Iraq (leadership) are nothing more than Mullah puppets who were brought into power by the US after 2003 and they are mostly terrorists whose days in power are outnumbered.

They are frustrated for various of reasons, the economic and political situation in Iraq (losing their grip on power), their beloved Mullah regime getting one beating after the other and that entity being a failed state in all its definitions etc. A good example of this:

It is similar to how Alevis in Turkey do not represent Turks overall. It is always the minorities that are crying and instigating for the most part.

Millions of Syrians across the Arab world, in Turkey, Europe/West and elsewhere. If a substantial portion of them returns it will benefit Syria a lot economically. The demographics are quickly rebounding and there is a large annual population increase.

A fatwa should be issued by the religious leaders of Syria and among scholars in the Arab world to make it halal to exterminate that lot.

Al-Sharaa is indeed too soft. I would have attacked fiercely and left none of them alive on Syrian territory. Aside from being terrorists and criminals they are unapologetic kuffar.

From openly crying about KSA foiling the Abu Dhabi regime/Zionist plots in Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Syria etc. to even crying about KSA not allowing US to attack Iran from its soil or use it, to this:

:ROFLMAO:

Also why is this forum or Twitter censoring the video that went viral of his where a reporter/civilian or whoever, asks him why he does not tell the world that he is gay?

Did the minority Iraqi Sunni Arabs accept the fact that Iraq was once majority Shia rule after Saddam fell? If you remember, there was terrorism and chaos, with various Sunni terr groups attacking Shias and Americans alike. That's why they eventually had tight security outside prominent Shia mosques.

Iraqi Sunni Arabs make up between 35-40% of the population and are generally notoriously underestimated in all "official" surveys. Plenty of Sunni Arabs in Southern Iraq as well in Basra, Az Zubayr, Babil and elsewhere.

On the other hand Arab Shias in Syria barely make up 3% of the population.

Another interesting thing that most non-Arabs and in fact many Arabs themselves are unaware of, the majority of Iraqi Shia Arabs, in particular those in Southern Iraq (where most Iraqi Shia Arabs live), are recent converts to Shia Islam, as numerous Arab tribes, many recent migrants from modern-day KSA, were escaping north for sanctuary and afterwards many of them converted.

Which is why you have Arab tribes in Iraq that are split between Sunnis and Shias depending on their geography, for instance the Jubur tribe that went to central and northern Iraq, remained Sunni, while their relatives who stayed in the south, many of them converted to Shia Islam. Similarly with the Shammar tribe, Banu Kaab and many other clans and tribes.

Here are some sources that talk about this even on Wiki. See the 15th to 19th century chapter.

The esteemed Arab and Iraqi professor Ali Al-Wardi also writes about such events in detail. I have read many of his excellent works, can highly recommend it.

You forgot that almost all Iraqi Sunni Arabs that were members of the Ba'ath Party (back then it was mandatory if you wanted a public career), served in the military, police, public sector etc. were rendered jobless overnight due to the illegal US-imposed laws?

Did you forget that the Americans were illegal invaders of Iraq and that resistance against them and their allies and local collaborators was entirely legal and understandable and morally and religiously correct?

It was AQIM, later turned into ISI which later and finally turned into ISIL, that were the ones attacking civilians in order to create a large scale civil war. This was after large scale mass killings of Iraqi Sunni Arabs. Which explains why most of the leadership were part of the military before.

In return 100's of Shia Arab terrorist groups and militias emerged doing similar stuff. Many in power today and many of those terrorists walking freely today are part of the Iraqi (US imposed system after 2003) political system. Nouri al-Maliki a good example of this. Not only a terrorist after 2003 but before 2003 too when he fought against his own country on the side of the Mullah regime and his terrorist Dawa party did terrorist attack in Iraq too. So it is much more complicated than that.

Any way, let us not forget the hordes of Iraqi Shia Arab terrorists who went berserk in Syria since 2011 and committed crimes and terrorism there. It is the supporters of such terrorists that are crying about events in Syria right now. Not ordinary Iraqi Shia Arabs.

However the Iraqi state, during the recent events and recent terrorism of the SDF/PKK cult, could not appropriately secure their own border with Syria in order to prevent Iraqi Kurdish terrorist cults from entering Syria.

Anyway all this is pointless to discuss as Syrians have no desire or interest to attack Iraq nor the other way around.

Outside of a minority of dreamers on both sides who are not very clever and who do not realize who the real enemies of Arabs are.

Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

📌We welcome the statement issued by the Syrian government regarding the ceasefire agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces under a comprehensive agreement that includes the integration of the institutions of the “Autonomous Administration” into the institutions of the Syrian state.

📌The Kingdom hopes that this comprehensive agreement will contribute to supporting Syria’s march towards peace, security and stability in a way that achieves the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people and strengthens their national unity, reiterating its full support for all the efforts made by the Syrian government in preserving its sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.

📌We appreciate the response of the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces to the Kingdom’s efforts and the efforts made by the United States of America to stabilize the calm and reach this agreement.

A year has passed since I assumed the position of President of the Syrian Arab Republic, during which I recall the sacrifices and patience of Syrians in all fields, and I ask God to be worthy of this trust.

We create the future together, with firm justice, lasting stability, and comprehensive development that restores Syria's status and achieves the aspirations of its people.

It took Syrians lot of time to learn local languages, integrate in local culture and get jobs/businesses in the Western countries. Their children and grandchildren are born here and most will probably not return. Like the Ugandan Idi Amin refugees they will return temporarily to reclaim their properties then sell it immediately and then return back to Western countries. Linguistic and religious minorities will not return.

US Special Envoy for Syria Tom Barrack:

📌Today’s announcement of reaching a comprehensive agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces represents a profound and historic milestone in Syria’s path towards national reconciliation, unity and sustainable stability.

📌This step, which was carefully negotiated and was based on previous frameworks and recent efforts to reduce escalation, constitutes a clear expression of a shared commitment to inclusion, mutual respect, and preserving the collective dignity of all components of Syrian society.

For the Syrian government, this agreement reflects a firm commitment to a true national partnership and inclusive governance by facilitating the phased integration of military, security and administrative structures within the unified state institutions while ensuring the opportunity for prominent SDF representatives to contribute at senior leadership levels.

📌 The principle is emphasized that Syria’s strength stems from embracing its diversity and responding to the legitimate aspirations of all its people. This approach is not limited to strengthening sovereignty over the entire Syrian territory, but also sends a clear message of openness and fairness to the international community.

📌As for the Kurdish people, the recent implementation of Presidential Decree No. 13, which restored full Syrian citizenship to those previously affected by historical exclusion measures, recognized the Kurdish language as a national language alongside Arabic, allowed its teaching in the regions concerned, and established guarantees of protection from discrimination, constitutes a transformative step towards equality and belonging.

📌These measures work to correct long-standing injustices, affirm the inherent status of the Kurds within the Syrian homeland, and open the horizons for their full participation in shaping a safe, prosperous, and comprehensive future.

📌Within this framework of the common goal, the two parties took courageous steps by the Syrian government by expanding the circle of inclusion and granting rights effectively, and to the Kurdish communities by adopting a unified national framework that honors their contributions and serves the public good.

📌These developments pave the way for rebuilding institutions, restoring confidence, attracting the investments necessary for the reconstruction process, and consolidating a lasting peace for all Syrians.

📌With unity built on dialogue and respect, Syria today stands on the cusp of regaining its rightful place as a beacon of stability and hope in the region and beyond.

I would be very suspicious of this occurring given events of the last few weeks. The few remaining territories that the SDF/PKK terrorist cult controls, majority Arab-inhabited, should be fully liberated and return to Damascus. As for those elements of the SDF that can be trusted, most likely mostly the few remaining Syrian Arabs, should be integrated if possible. The Kurdish ones willing to as well. However those that have not yet given up their arms are most likely not to be trusted and should be dealt with to the last one of them. As in eliminated.

Syria is experiencing a population boom (like much of the Arab world that by 2050 will have around 1 billion people) already. Many Syrians from the Arab world, Europe, North America, Turkiye and other countries have returned already. It is not necessary nor realistic for them all to return.

However if just a portion of the educated and wealthy among them return, it will give Syria a big boost here and now.

Backward al-Assad Nusayri supporters better stay out of Syria indeed, as they are useless and not needed. They had their 40-50 years of terrorist cult rule and almost ruined Syria completely.
