US Political News and Trump’s China visit

The internet is not real life, what you see there is a a sliver of views only. Reddit the biggest forums in that site are overwhelmingly left wing, however that site is also astroturfed and botted to the moon.
Truly I understand, so is the political view over trump still positive or neutral? Considering the fact he has been kind of ignoring constitutional obligations or what I understand of that country where only congress can declare military operations

Or Is this not the full picture and in the past I heard this precedent of not informing congress or not signing the war act was already in place maybe by Obama or someone

And a reason why we (the mods) advise the community here about reposting Reddit posts. When it comes to low quality, they set the standard. X isn't too far behind given all the bot accounts there.

Mr Trump has a base of support of about 30% who support him no matter what. Elsewhere he is likely losing support as he is not fulfilling any of his campaign promises and seems intent on foreign wars and imperialism.

by the way.. is the political atmosphere as bad in the U.S. As Reddit makes it out to be? Because goddamn is reddit overwhelmingly left wing everytime i log on there people are hating on trump...

So are they an absolute minority or is this the sentiment in the U.S.
Political view is just that, people who follow a certain political view seldom change their view, and there are an equal number of people who purport both views.

The things you should look at is how these people see things. We saw an increasing fraction within the Democrats during 2024, leading right up to the point Biden dropped out, which is a worrying sign because it sends a mixed signal. Conversely, if and when Trump's supporters start to fracture, it would be bad for Trump.

Otherwise, you should not believe in anyone anybody said

Republicans will never win another election in California.

Then again, expect to see a continued exodus from that state.
Never say Never, but at least for near future I think CA is pretty much in Democrats court.

That's ok. Texas and other states have made sure GOP keeps majority for 2026 and when SCOTUS rules on racial redistricting demorats will likely never win the house for the foreseeable future and definitely when 2030 census removes democrat seats as illegals get deported and not counted anymore.
