Both economies would have a GDP of 10-20% smaller without China's trade.

Chinese gov is responsible for the well being of the economy of Chinese people. It has no obligations and authority to run or look after other friendly countries' economies, it's the job of the govs of those countries themselves. Those countries have their own political, economic and other social forms that are very different from China, one can't expect what woks in China can be enforced in those countries in any ways. Why people always think China should be responsible for other countries economic well beings ? Why people not ask why the US can't lift its allies such as Japan and Germany's economies from slumps for decades in case of Japan ?

I get your way of thinking and absolutely don't hold it against you but we must live in reality. There's no way a USN ship is going to blow up or even get hit it is not going to happen USN is not the Russian navy. Iran may throw missiles in the general direction of where they think US ships are but no USN ships will be hit. Is it possible? Anything is possible including me getting back my sixpack abs at my age but is it going to happen... absolutely not.

Do you know why US is "Abandoning talks about Iranian ballistic missiles"?

Because US has most likely already decided that it will bomb amd destroy Iran's ballistic missile infrastructure and weapons.

I mean, if war is now more or.less certain, then Iran's best option is to strike first, and if Iran has to strike first because that is Iran's best option,then the counter argument that "if Iran attacks first Iran will look like the sgressor and US will switch the narrative against Iran in the world's eyes" is invalid and irrelevant.

US can and will probably hit Iran very hard...in the short term, and after those few weeks of bombing, US will have nothing to fight with and Iran will probably come out the victor(and this assumes US doesnt start secret negotiations and making concessions privately once US realizes its in its way to losing the war). If Iran wins, gulf neighbors will submit to Iranian control in a way we have never seen in our lives.

The person who makes the decisions in Iran is the Supreme Leader. The President doesn't really matter.

The Foreign Minister seems to talk to the Supreme Leader and that's mainly the person that we've communicated with.

But it's a very weird country to conduct diplomacy with when you can't even talk to the person who's in charge of the country.

Trump can pick up the phone and call Putin. He can pick up the phone and call Xi. Even countries that we have very hostile relations with.

It is bizarre that we can't just talk to the actual leadership of Iran. It really makes diplomacy very difficult.

Don't be overconfident. I remember you saying Hezbollah was untouchable and would ruin Israel in any upcoming war.

If hezbollah is still not potent, then why did Israel sign a fake ceasefire with lebanon and hezbollah (because it couldn't defeat hzb)only to start bombing hzb and south Lebanon after the ceasefire till now?

You might be mistaking hezbollah's silence for weakness, I am not making that mistake. Hzb did so much damage to israel in that war, and israel is still recovering from that beating and Iran's OP TP2- look at rhe like in suicide rates and protests in their army and cities.

The Israeli operation waged against Iran was more substantial than what all of us were expecting.

But the war been in a continuum.....just changes form, ao Iran can and will continue its destruction of vital Israeli targets and infrastructure that are critical to the state of israel functioning. Is eilat port back open after houthis shut it down? Northern Israel is not built back or fully repopulated, the confidence in the idf is not strong, because didnt defeat any enemy after all those clashes and deaths and destruction + costs it received and paid.
