Getting Close To The End Of My Natural Life Span:---

Its just that after the treadmill session i cant feel the left side of my face ...and back......and arm...as all had gone numb
jeez some of u realy need to go to doctors . take care of yourself man , if you cant do it for yourself then do it for your children

@MastanKhan May Allah give you shifaa and a long happy life.

Your message is a reminder for myself, I will leave this dunniya one day. I must make taauba every day and night for my sins and get closer to my Creator.

Sir, we have learnt a lot from you and are hoping to keep learning from you. INSHALLAH ALLAH Will cure you, and you will get better and give you a long, healthy life. Ameen.
Hi,

Well---meet you in lahore sometime.

So i was 20 years old, and having an episode of stress, because of some financial situations.
I took it too seriously when it wasn't, and as a result i had a stress induced cardiac arrest.
I realized my heart has stopped thumping and started hitting my chest with my fist , while calming down my thoughts at the same time. about 10 seconds of no heart beat later, the heart slowly started thumping again and in a few minutes it regained normal BPM.
I didn't tell anyone and did not go to the hospital.
Since then i started having Angina . Some days every heart beat will be a pain and my left back would go numb with needle pricking like feeling and if i exert myself , my lefty arm would go numb too.

Its been 33 years since, and i am still alive. I still do 35 minute 5k on the treadmill, and i still deadlift 90kg for 3 reps and 70Kg for 5 reps, and i still get all those pains.
I can still do 25 Push ups and 5 Pull ups, and i still do calisthenics, the easy exercises
Its just that i have got used to those pains and don't bother me .
Its just that after the treadmill session i cant feel the left side of my face ...and back......and arm...as all had gone numb.

I have had my heart checked in Pakistan as you did. Same tests and a valve was found to be malfunctioning . That was back in the 90s, a few months after the episode.

In UK i had my heart checked by the NHS. They say i have a slipping valve which causes the pains. A non return valve is allowing the blood back into the chamber it should not. They prescribed me medication which i never took, and still dont.

I just bear the pain, and i find that easier every passing year.

When i die, i will die, and that will be the end of it, but am not going to die before my death, and try my best to keep living.

Hi,

The Dr. says the same for me---. Possibly stress induced heart attack---.

I may have felt some pain but nothing out of the ordiary---.

Maybe because of these TV shows where you see a heart attack hapening and the person kees over---we don't recongnize these small issues.

I took the medication for a few days---. It made me a Zombie---.

So---only taking small aspirin.

I pray for your good health and enjoyable long life ....

Even if you are suffering from natural decline due to age .... I pray for you a peaceful and graceful phase of your life....

Hi,

Retirement is like hitting a brick wall going at 90 mph. That is what I am going thru right now.

So---this info is more so for people in their 50's.

I had an AFIB attack about months ago at around 1:00 am ---got up and don't feel good---little burning sensation in the food canal.

First---I don't feel my pulse---it s non existant---when I find it---it has no rhythm---totally irregular beat which later at the hospital i found it to be around 170-180 a minute. Went to the emergency---it became normal after 6 hours---came back home.

Went to see a cardio---had 2 weeks of electronic monitor on the chest---did ultra sound for the heart and carotid artery---.

Heart is beating strong---carotid arteries clean---.

Did a stress test ---almost normal except for a couple of minor anamolies.

Dr. suggest and angiogram for the final test. The angiogram happened in december.

Found out---that I had a heart attack maybe--- 1, 2, 3 or maybe 5 years ago----. I did not know about---. 1 of blood vessel in the heart was 100 % blocked that the Dr. did not want to disturb it---because other blood vessels had developed and compensated for the shortage---so the Dr, did not use any stents or repair.

Now the mind games started to happen---.

Reminded me of when i was in the microbiology dept at Karachi univ---one of our senior healthy girl while testing her blood sample found out that she had "sickle cell". It is rumored that she passed away around 6 months later.

So---my mind had started playing some devious games.

It is funny that one day you say that I am not afraid to die and the next day you say that life is very importatnt---.

So---I am trying to conquer the mind game at this time.

Other that that---I am still my old self.
Sirji you're going to be fine, lead a normal life for decades to come. Probably going to outlive many of us given the lifestyle. You probably need a bypass though, imo get a keyhole one if you can have options and you'll be walking around in a week.

I am close to the end or maybe possibly right at the end of my natural life span.

@MastanKhan , transition to a new realm, we are all in line, looking forward to the next life after death, may Allah be pleased with us all..

Sorry to hear about your health troubles. You'll be fine. We hope to hear you say "I told you so" for many, many more years. My apologies for any harsh words I used in the past. It's good to hear from you.

Maybe it's your excessive use of "---" that's causing the problem :sneaky: (Just a cheap joke ... or is it?).

May Allah SWT grant you healthy and long life, and to us all and our loved ones as well (Ameen, Sum'Ameen).

I have always maintained زندگی لمبی نہیں، مکمل ہونی چاہیے۔

How much of a life you have, only Allah SWT knows. What you can do is make the best of whatever time/duration that may be.
