Dual nationals should be taxed on their foreign assets and income.

If those living abroad want to vote, then, they should pay their tax in pakistan aswel or give up their Pakistani nationality.

Copy / paste the same method that USA uses to tax US nationals living and earning in foreign countries.

Potential to add 5 million plus Pakistani dual nationals into the tax net.

Yup
Just like how USA operates.
Same principles, same rules.
Copy / paste all the same rules.



If dual nationals / USA citizens are happy to comply with their TAX laws, of Double Taxation, then, surely they can give some tax to their motherland Pakistan aswel.

Few hundred USD / EURO / POUND won't hurt that much specially when it comes to serving your motherland Pakistan.

If the dual nationals are happy to follow traffic laws in New York / Chicago / Houston / Philadelphia , then, surely they can follow all the traffic rules in pakistan ?

Same principle with tax money.

Potential of Rs 1 trillion + tax money.

Could be alot more, with more than 9 million Pakistanis living abroad.

Also,
Reitired Dual nationals are earning pension income from two countries.

One from Pakistan and one from their dual nationals country.

Many pensioners only visit Pakistan to get their pension money and then move back to their resident western country.

Pension should not be given to dual nationals as they are already receiving it from their resident country.

They take away foreign currency contributing to depletion of foreign reserves, without living and spending that money in Pakistan.

K-Electric (KE) announced on Monday that the meeting of the company’s Board of Directors to consider matters other than the financial results of KE was rescheduled.

The company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

The meeting will now be held on February 13, at 12pm, in Karachi.


Chief Executive Officer Moonis Alvi had resigned from his position on Friday, after Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori had annulled a Provincial Ombudsman’s order to remove Alvi from his post over alleged involvement in a case pertaining to workplace harassment.

Alvi announced his resignation in a post on X.

“After 18 years with K-Electric, including almost 8 as CEO, I have decided to step down.

“It has been an honour to serve an institution so central to Karachi’s life, alongside some of the most resilient and committed professionals I know. I will support a smooth transition,” he wrote.

Following his resignation, the utility company was scheduled to hold a meeting on Tuesday (February 10) to decide on a successor. According to sources, three candidates have been shortlisted for the position.

Almost all countries allow Foreign Tax Credit for taxes paid in other jurisdictions, even if formal DTAA treaties don't exist. I believe most of the countries with which Pakistan allows dual citizenship are not tax havens with much lower tax rates, so it should not have much of an impact on most taxpayers.
