Pakistan External Debt

LOL. Any idiot can improve it since the solutions are all well known. It is just that no one actually wants the system to change, and hence they all lie to claim to reform it, and yet nothing ever really changes it. History proves it.
I don't think idiots are known for being successful.

I don't think anyone likes the design, just no one has been able to reform it. It's too much work and hassle and requires a lot political stability.

Those who know the loopholes in the system have used it for their personal advantages but that doesn't mean they've created those loopholes. They're just there and as I said, no one has bothered to fix them because it's too much effort and time consuming.

Take the recent EU and India trade deal. It has been worked on for more than 20-years. Pakistan has never been politically or economically stable for that long. Unless this changes, which I think it is finally, then we can expect small improvements.

By now, a Pakistani Government would had been stimulating the economy to hit a 5% target but not this Government. It's so focussed on reforms as it's become a matter of national security.

please state top 10 structural and 'design' problems, which hold the key to unlock Pak. potential?

I wish to understand!

Wow 😲...be kind enough and tell us the solutions

LOL. Nope.

If the people of Pakistan can tolerate the system in place as well as they do, no one else has any reason to suggest any solutions. It is up to them to decide what they want, and what they want is exactly what they have.

Ok....
Fuk , I have to right something.

For a dirt poor country like Pakistan, it's everything from A to Z.

all the structural problem and design problems, A to Z belong to Pak?!

then we should re-name Pak. to 'Islamic Republic of Problematic Designs & Structural Flaws'

aka, from IRP to IR - PDSF

thank you for increasing my vision and wisdom 100 folds!

this started as a very serious thread!

LOL. Nope. Someone is being raped. @VCheng won’t intervene nor suggest any solutions because the victims are getting exactly what they want. 🙄

One can start with some data.
Per capita GDP (nominal)
40px-Flag_of_Bangladesh.svg.png
Bangladesh
2,960
40px-Flag_of_Pakistan.svg.png
Pakistan
1,707
or using Purchasing Power Parity (PPP),
10,847

7,190

Since Bangladesh was born with much weaker economy but now seems much better off (than Pakistan), a solution may be to see what they are doing right and follow their example. Since the two countries have had common (shared) history, this may be easier than following, say, the example of China. Mimicking China would be much better, but there are major cultural differences in spite of political friendship over 80 years.

Govt is the issue.
Actually you are asking them to commit suicide.
