Again agree or disagree with the crackdown which was a result of people who came in behind peaceful protests over the economy of Iran who decided the cause mayhem with the backing of Israel and America which these countries are openly admitting but how come after 10 thousand Palestinians dead 20 thousand 30 thousand and so on they didn’t break relations with Israel weird right.

This type of strategy doesn't always work. There are many cases where the nation suffering this type of attack becomes strong and outside the system, like North Korea, Myanmar, Vietnam, russia(after ucranian war) and even China, which only started doing business there after consolidating its power and acquiring nuclear weapons.

In my opinion, the Obama administration's plan was more dangerous for Iran than the current one. The "Obama plan" was to lift some embargoes on Iran and maintain some prospects for the future that would never be delivered, in exchange for military limitations. Keeping Iran open to the West, with Western ideologies, drugs, alcoohol, and color revolutions (which would have the support of part of the population) would be dangerous for Iran, but now you turn on the television and a politician says live on TV that "the Iranian population has to suffer"... well, then it becomes clear that their objective is to kill everyone there (Gaza Strip style).

NOTE: When Netanyahu ordered Trump to tear up the Obama agreement in 2018 and take a series of actions that have continued since then, Iran is left with only two options: either it becomes North Korea or the Gaza Strip, and I see that the path for Iran is already decided: it will be a new North Korea, only bigger, stronger, and with greater reach due to religion. Iran now has military technology, a clandestine nuclear program, allies...it's not so bad after all...And this is the reason why Netanyahu wants to destroy Iran at all costs.

“It’s a matter of time. We are hoping that this attack ‌will expedite the process and the people can be finally back ⁠in the streets and take ⁠it all the way to the ultimate regime’s downfall,” said Pahlavi, who is based in the United States and has lived outside Iran since before his father was toppled in the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

TRUMP HAS QUESTIONED LEVEL OF SUPPORT FOR PAHLAVI

Iran’s opposition is fragmented among rival groups and ideological factions – including the monarchists who back Pahlavi – and appears to have little organized presence inside the Islamic Republic. In an interview ‌with Reuters last month, Trump sounded skeptical about the level of Pahlavi’s support inside Iran.

The Trump administration has engaged with Iran to see if a nuclear deal can be struck as Washington amassed military forces in the region. U.S. and Iranian diplomats held talks in Oman last ⁠week and further talks in the coming week are expected.

“People are hoping that at some point the decision will be made that there’s no use, there’s no point, we’re not going to ⁠get anywhere with negotiations. Therefore, ‌that’s time for the United States to intervene and do what ⁠President Trump promised he will do, to have the people’s back,” Pahlavi ‌said.

“Intervention is a way to save lives,” he added.

On Friday, in a speech ⁠to U.S. troops in North Carolina, Trump said Iran has been difficult in nuclear negotiations and suggested that instilling fear in Tehran may be necessary to resolve the standoff peacefully.

Two U.S. officials speaking on the condition of anonymity told Reuters on Friday that the U.S. military was preparing for the possibility of a sustained, weeks-long operation against Iran if Trump ordered an attack.
