I am guessing these gung-ho exercises of IAF are a treasure trove of ELING / SIGINT for PAF.

How possible is it for us to use our ground based EW assets against the Indian naval air arm and other assets if they come too close?
Like would it be possible for our SOJs to jam surveillance of p8i?

for sure.

The Russians primarily had this focus, using ground based jammers against E3's and JSTARS, etc, now the effectiveness, we wont know about. The thing is, aircraft like AEW/MPA's will stay far clear of the kinds of ranges you could effectively deploy ew assets from the ground, so i guess its not really an area of particular focus for most. Like, it would probably be far more effective to just lob a missile at them of they got close
