K-P living in stone age, says Maryam

Pakistan was fine when Imrandu was isolating it on world stage with stupid taliban wannabe foreign policy and when he surrendered meekly against India after Balakot.

Now Pakistan is bad because Imrandu is in jail while Asim Munir beat India in war and having some geopolitical relevance for the first time in 50 years by coming out of isolation.

Pakistan wasn't doing great then, but was managing better than what we have currently. At least you had consistent FDI and development at the micro-level, which, at this point, is shot.

Pakistan didn't beat India in a war; rather, it just won a skirmish. A total war would have resulted in Pakistan being pushed back into the same position it had been in with the previous two wars it started.

You have no geopolitical relevance, neither in the past nor in the future, except being a launchpad when it's needed for the Americans; that's your only utility. Tell me, in the last two years, what has the globe-trotting duo gained for Pakistan? Your relevance is so much that India is absorbing investment in the region.

Do remember, Trump is just temporary-this too shall pass.

Maryam is advertisement of corruption and deception !

The 2016 Panama Papers leak implicated Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif, as the beneficial owner of offshore companies (Nescoll Limited and Nielsen Enterprises) used to purchase luxury London properties. These revelations led to her disqualification from office, a 2018 prison sentence for corruption, and controversies over forged documents (Calibri font).

Key details regarding Maryam Nawaz and the Panama Papers:
  • Offshore Companies: Documents from Mossack Fonseca showed Maryam was the beneficiary of offshore firms used to hold London apartments.
  • Forgery Allegations: To claim she was only a trustee, Maryam submitted documents dated 2006, but a forensic expert found they used the Calibri font, which was not commercially available until 2007.
  • Conviction: In July 2018, she was sentenced to seven years in prison for her role in the scandal, although she later challenged this.
  • Impact: The scandal caused the resignation of her father, Nawaz Sharif
She maintained her innocence throughout the proceedings, often calling the leaks and accusations politically motivated.

What FDI? The only thing PTI did was borrow like crazy and left near bankrupt state by early 2022. Pakistan beat India in May war and you saw the results after Delhi blasts they didn't even name Pakistan. Meanwhile PAF won in 2019 but Imrandu surrendered by giving back Abhinandan.

We all know how desperate Imrandu was for Biden call so spare me BS. Imrandu/PTI then decided to bet on Trump that didn't go well as well.

Disgusting, she will be held to account for her comment in this world and the next.

KP requires regime change ASAP. It is a failed state like Sudan and has been dysfunctional since the 80s.

Passport integrity, border security, immigration, corruption, literacy and education, law and order, terrorism and extremism, mass proliferation of drugs, womens rights, child labor and slavery.

A complete failure on all fronts.

Spoiler alert Mayram: they are both poor , one just has Lahore.

In comparison to Punjab, Lahore and ICT every place looks like living in stone age

I am wondering, what is so bad that she would be held accountable in this world and the next?

I think there should be a healthy competition amongst the provinces to ensure they are offering the best possible services to their citizenry. Sind and KPK are clearly failing at it.

I would also say, Karachi/Sind are in the stone-age as well compared to the relative development in Punjab. More development funding is going into uplift in Punjab than in KPK, Sind etc. This is a fact and it shows on the ground.

A recent news report suggested 70% of the budgetary funds have not been utilized by parliamentarians in their respective areas.

Maybe Karachi citizens are more vocal than KPK ones (who toe the party line in the province), but the performance of the Sind government is getting lambasted by all and sundry except some PPP die-hards.

being a Karachite i can say this, when ever i travel to Lahore or Islamabad i wanna leave Karachi and shift there

our DHA looks like SHIT in comparison to even the lousiest housing society in Lahore

Every signal in DHA, Karachi is inundated by all sorts of beggers.

Minimum of 5 beggers on each side of the road that spreads like a swarm of insects, to every car, on that side of the road, with continuously starring and sticking their nose and hands at the transparent window of the back of the cars specially when females are present.

In summary, Karachi is operated and administered in a manner that is comparable to a shantytown. Instead, the Government of Sindh should have build Karachi as a symbolic city of South Asia. Karachi has the potential to generate five times more revenue for the PPP. However, their narrow focus is markedly limited.
