Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

If that's really also the most important demand of Iran then I don't see any peace deal happening.

Because if Iran considers the US bases in the region as a threat to its security at the same time US consider those bases as extremely valuable. Through the presence of this hard power, US enjoys complete hegemony in the region and earn 100s of billions by extortion (oil rich countries spending 100s of billions of dollar on US equipment that's ultimately controlled by the US in the end. That drives US mega defense industry and employs thousands in the US. Also the hegemonic control pushes oil rich countries of region to invest in the US with close to trillion dollars).

So US wants absolute control of that region always. US cannot afford to leave the region as Iranian general demanded. It will be massive blow to US foreign policy and hegemony. US would prefer war but not accept withdrawal from the region.

The middle ground could be that they both decides that few bases to be abandoned like US 5th fleet HQ in Bahrain. That keeps US navy destroyers all in and around PG and strait of hormuz and bases in Iraq and Kuwait. But US will keep bases in KSA, UAE and others for sure.

US doesn´t need to scrap or close de bases in Persian Gulf. Just deploy light troops and non kinetic systems like F15/16/35 and heavy weaponry.

There can be an agreement just to report each other before deployments as a measure to ease tensions.

But you must understand that the happy days of deploying C5/17 with Patriots/THAADs and squadrons of F15/16/35 are gone.

There was in past good days a pact between NATO and URSS not to deploy heavy weaponry close to their frontier.

FN Fal derived from German G3. FN Fal has German blueprints.
That is not correct.

The FAL was an independent design. It's lineage can be traced back to the FN-49.

The G-3 rifle was derived from the Spanish CETME. Interestingly, the designer of the CETME, Ludwig Vorgrimler, who designed the roller-delayed blowback mechanism, was a German engineer and as one would expect, incorporated German engineering principles into the design.

H&K would further refine it.

Really? How on earth can the US reach an agreement that is NOT favourable to Iran? Some members are too gloomy about things. Reality is reality.
Yeah, but that seems to be the maximum list of iranian demands...
...I would like to see the final agreement like this. But seems that Persian Gulf is right, just the letter from Irán. I cross fingers most of them are finally approved by both sides. Deffinitively the final agreement will be much better for Irán. But a long of road in front...

Well as there seem to be people who still don't know which side is more truthful about what is happening behind the scenes, why not just release what was agreed to according to you trump? tweet it out:D

We should wait for the final, signed agreement, whenever it might happen. to be able to judge the value and impact of the settlement terms.

Come to think of it... Iran has been pretty consistent and public with it's demands...
The shyster has been jumping from one branch of the tree to the next... swinging in the middle and alluding to some clandestine and arcane "deal" that has been waiting Iranian endorsement.

What's private there don?

... but any side can ask for whatever it wants. The key is what either side can actually get.

We still do not know what the final agreement is, or if it ever happens, and even if it does, how long it lasts.

Did we all not see that even Mark Levin, in a video I posted just above, is admitting that Trump desperately wants out and per Mark the whole world knows that. And coming from Mark, that wailing must mean a lot and should tell people who has gained the upper hand. In my mind, as soon as the ceasefire was announced in early April, I knew who had gained the upper hand and subsequent months/events have not changed my perception of that.

Iranian officials and media had insisted that Iran had stopped engaging with the U.S. after the U.S. attacked Iran several times. While Trump insisted Iran was lying and negotiations were ongoing.

Now Araghchi confirms Trump was telling the truth, and negotiations have been ongoing behind the scenes this entire time:
