Point is Pakistan should stop playing games and either declare an offical war against Taliban (like turkey did and find an alternative group arm them and support them) or sit and do serious negotiation

Taliban should declare an offical war with Pakistan instead of fighting a guerilla proxy war.

If they want to protect their people then should stop sending their fighters across the border.

They need to keep bombing them daily to make them understand there are consequences to their actions.

They think they can take Indian money and masscare Pakistanis and return home to their villages in Afghanistan and live happily ever after.

There are certain sides that are always pressuring Pakistan to deal with Afghanistan diplomatically. Diplomacy won't resolve Afghanistan.

True but diplomacy comes from legitimacy.. diplomacy has no rule if Pakistan is not going to be a demcoracy

The consistent policy of showing restraint, respect and love is the reason this TTP has been so successful. I guess the more the collateral damage the more it will raise the cost of waging terrorism for them. No more sides, just simple plain killing till they realise no one can kill mercilessly and endlessly like a state.

Call it qisas and be done with it. These terrorist sons and nephews of the locals have killed plenty of innocent for money.

How losing looks like:

Bomb blasts after every few days, killing our people, continous instability, 2 front situation, focus diverted from primary threat, progress halted, no investments due to terrorism, Losing assets/strategic depth to arch rival india. Heightened hostilities and hatred across borders. That's exactly what's happening.

How the winning looks like:

A friendly regime, no threat border, A gateway to trade for central asia, a win win situations.

Solution:

Create an intelligence network inside afghanistan. Make allies in afghan regime, buy people, make assets, eliminate figures or leaders who are in way of our assets. So our favored people are elevated, we get a friendly regime (as it was in 1990s / taliban 1.0). Same intel network and our favored people will help us point out and eliminate TTP's leaders.

I think you must decide if they are locals or Afghanis. Because after every incidents fingers are pointed at Afghanistan and then hell is unleashed on locals. This hyprocitical approach must be abandoned by us. If locals are sheltering terrorists why not arrest them and prosecute legally.
