Emotional gaslighting because your party has consistently failed to do their job isn't making the point you think it's making. It's just pathetic deflection.

For your information, the entire country has lived through an era of daily suicide bombings so leave behind the lectures (read: excuses) for failing to do your job, and go and tell the families of every serving soldier that their child will likely be slaughtered & burnt alive by Afghans and the best their military will do is give bullshit out-of-context lectures about escalation because they find themselves in a predicament which they don't have the spine to pull through.

"Your party" clearly shows the mentality here. Second, I don't know what "gaslighting" means.

Third, if you have a big problem with the current strategy then pick up a gun and stand guard (which you can't or won't so your opinion or critique is neither here of there) as talk is cheap. I would pay heed if you or any of those complaining were professionals involved in the task of clamping down on terrorism. Since that is not the case, your post is neither here or there.
